Guild name request problem ?
 

I have been trying too name my guild for a while now but with no luck, I enter my name and hit enter and nothin happens, is this meant to happen ?

It could be one (or both) of two things-

One, Disney might not approve of the name for the guild. I would look at the naming pirates (same for every Disney Online Game) part of the site because they go hand in hand with each other. I mean, the rules for naming your pirate is the same for naming your guild.

Two, the Pirates Online Development Staff may not have approved the name of the guild yet. Keep waiting. They have many other reports, questions, bugs, and new things to come out with on Open/Test before they can answer simpler questions.

The naming thing is really tricky. For instance, I've seen a guild with a name that the chat filters won't even let you get through. Which makes absolutely no sense at all. The guild was FUBAR - and yes, although it cracked me up to see it, it shows how flawed Disney's naming system is. Unfortunately, you just have to keep trying..and trying..and trying. But remember, once you submit a name, just let it sit. Don't try entering anything else until you get word from Disney that it has either been accepted or rejected. It's a painful process, but you don't want to lose the chance to have your name accepted by entering another one before hearing from the Big D. Good luck with it.

ONce you have entered a name in teh guild box, dont try to enter anything again until you get a pop up sayin if it was approved or denied. Sometimes entering the same name over and over without waiting, it will reject it every time.

Guild naming is just flat out ridiculous. Laughable, if you aren't still going through it.

Mine saga wound up with community support changing my guild name two weeks after I had sent a help request email. By then we had gotten another name that worked, set up forums using that name, etc. Just logged on one day, and POOF our guild name had been changed. sheesh.

same prob with me too its hard to name one so far im lvl 35 and i still cant figure out a name and only got one name for a guild.

in the guild name rules i believe it says it has to be in english which stinks because i wanted mine to be in french and it got rejected. i assume it was because of the foreign language.. so i ended up with a silly name that i don't really like.. i wish i was more clever.
