Dump Cargo idea.

I have an idea or suggest that there should be a dump cargo option, because us higher up's want to stay out at sea longer and make higher and better gold (then of course what do we need gold for when your level 39) But i have an idea to give the option of staying out at sea longer and dumping that cargo you don't want over board to make room for longer time at sea and better plunder.

PLEASE EXCUSE MY QUICK AND CHEAP PICTURE IT WAS JUST LAST MIN

Plain and simple if your smart enough you get the general idea, it give's you the option to pick which plunder you want to throw overboard and give you the chance to stay out at sea longer and do more leveling, plundering, just all around you get to stay out at sea, and when ever the kraken is put into play even a chance to fight him.

They actually have this sort of option on WOW as well. PLunder what you want and discard what you dont. I like the idea.

I've often wished the game would simply replace lower valued cargo with higher valued cargo as you collect it. In other words, if I filled up on crates, the first treasure chest I collect would replace a crate. And so on...

Basically same idea, but the game would do it automatically.

I realize I would come out ahead in the long run if I just dock and reboard whenever my cargo is full, but there are too many times I've been on a quest to get ships and much less concerned with cargo than kills. But I guess thats the rub, I need to decide which is more important at the moment. Can't have my cake and eat it too.

I like that idea tooHip. I honestly do thisn that would be better. Sometimes the cargo (Spices) is worth more than treasure, but thats a chance you have to take :)

I'd like to see what they are - why do we have to wait till we dock? We get everything else that way...

Check out my Revised Sails idea: I had an idea posted there of this sort. If you care to respond, respond there please! Granted, Hips is good too!

Unless I completely misread your post above, ignore this. :laughks2: Otherwise, if you click the circle where it says what your cargo number is, it will bring up a list of whatever it is that you have in your hold. That's the 'Plunder' box from Kaionai's original post.

Also, I have thought this plenty of times. Whenever I pick up a crate. "Throw it back!" I would be completely fine with either of the suggestions above - either allow us to drop whatever cargo we'd like or replace the lower cargo with anything better that we pick up along the way.

I think that we should definitely utilize the 'Suggestion' feature that they added to the options panel for this. I know that I will. Although, I'm sure that Disney is tired of hearing from me by now. For those of you who might not know this new feature, simply bring up your 'Options' panel and look for the green '?' that is towards the bottom of that panel that opens. And suggest away on all aspects of the game. I think it's really nice that they're inviting us to so easily offer our suggestions of the game. No more of those emails to deal with. And hopefully, if they're welcoming our feedback that means that they'll be reading it as well. :pirate2:
