Live New stuff and probs
 

last night i was so excited for all the new stuff but had many problems, booty town all night, no control over weapons or avatar, jumpy visuals seemed to correlate with combat, got booted oddly when lot of cannon fire and grenade play, ship steering was very off keel, and thunder made ship go completly of aim... on new islands my avatar floated over ground and i could not control movement.... wondering if anyone else having same probs my system chks out with all updated drivers and such, i even did un install - clean re-install to try to fx

alot of problems on PR and Tuga almost no mobility at all.

I know they did maint, last night but was wondering if i was exception, to these issues... no bug report timed out every time. but as far as the additionas they will be great when they get the kinks out

this is odd bc with the last update i lost all my lag (/cheer)

OMG Chriss....please tell me your not yankin my chain?!? I have had humongous lag over the last few days and wow PLEASE say its true!!!

All my tech. problems seem to have been solved with the update as well. Lag was never much of an issue, but all my sailing/docking problems are gone. Still seeing ships out at sea when I'm on land, but I've come to enjoy that :)

Basil needs to get glasses. Heres my ship at sea waiting for a capt. I was booted while settin her out and after takin a spin around the sea on Johnnys ship, we port and lo an behold, there she is waitin for us. Theres even a War Galleon takin on a Shadow Crow in the back.

Ive got another shot of G Man sailin off to battle Colossous and both he and Colossous are in teh background. Just havent hosted it yet.

Nice shot Angel :) That's been happening to me, too. Waiting at the dingy watching the capt. of your crew set sail is kinda cool. I'm sure it's causing some pirates some problems though. I may just have to give in and send a bug report next time.

I have had a lot of weird things happening since the update. First When I leveled up a weapon I LOST HP!! :hut125: grrrrrrr. . . . . went from 1134 to 1126!!! There have been 3 times when I was totally booted to my desktop during a battle at sea, just as the enemy ship was about to go down, and I had one instance where there was a ship showing in the compass window but all I saw in view out of the window was the wake where a ship SHOULD have been! :laughks2: Me thinks there is some big bugs in this update! :psmiley35:

For some reason I was walking on one of the new islands. Everything went black all of a sudden and I was floating. Then, when things went back to normal, I was swimming in the water near port royal O_O

I havent had any issues that im aware of, I have taken on the new quest, gone a bit through it. Explored the new islands... etc.

It appears to be running a bit smoother than it did previously.

Its possible I lost some HP when I leveled my doll, wasnt paying that close of attention (bad pirate!)

That happened to me last week, before this upgrade.

I gained a grenade level, and instead of gaining 8 HP, I lost 7. Hasn't happened again, but I haven't gained another grenade level since then.

That put me 15 points under where I should have been, and my voodoo was at skill 15, so I chalked it up to a fine-tuning of the HP for voodoo.

Same here. Only when I thought I was going to be running carefree down a hill, I ran straight over the edge of the island instead. I fell over a cliff and ended up in the water near port royal.

Plus, I can't fight anything with my cutlass. Every time I swing it at an enemy I get thrown around instead. Like my pirate can't plant her feet and get any footing.

Sometimes I have to pay twice to get my boat repaired. And with my sailing skills that can get pretty expensive.

And, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. But I just bought a war sloop but my plunder still is very low. I'm not hogging in on other peoples kills or anything like that. But they are not any better then what my light galleon was hauling in. Which was pretty slim pickins to be sure. Arrrr!

Wow, now I dont know if I wanna work on nades or finish Hunters doll yet. That would bite!

I've often have it do this to me, however the second time, it usually says 0 and charges me 0. I have a screen of it somewhere, "Pay 0 gold to repair ship".

I don't believe that the value of plunder increases with the value/size of your ship. The amount of plunder that can be carried however is increased which would usually generally result in a higher payout (when comparing full loads). It comes down to what ships your plundering in the long run. In my experiences, the higher value plunders are usually obtained from taking higher level enemy ships, and flag ships usually are more rewarding as well.

I tend to go after higher level ships. But I can only carry 2 more cargo then I could before. Could be that also.

The second time always charges me again. If it were 0 I wouldn't mind.

The cutlass thing straightend itself out after I logged out and back in again.
