Two different Boss Battles?
 

Okay, I know I may be asking for alot since it took so long to get the first one up...

My older sister and I both play - she uses a second pirate on my account (made her do her own since she kept completing Ruby's quests and I was 'bout to have Wrestlemania...anyway...). Because of this, Ruby can't help her do quests as two people can't be logged into the same account at one time.

She is having trouble getting together enough high level pirates to complete the Boss Battle - she hasn't made it past the officers at the beginning.

So, my suggestion is for pirates like her (and formerly Ruby before she got some social skills) is maybe a different Boss Battle for singles.

Well, the boss encourages teamwork and skills. Does your sis have a guild she can call upon for help? If not have her go to Abassa server and head to tortuga dock. That seems to be the "Meet & Greet" for Boss battles.

ITA, Tab. After all, since you can complete the whole Black Pearl story quest on your own, why should you be "forced" into having/joining a crew in order to complete the BB?

FYI, on the Test servers, two [extremely annoying] buttons appear constantly next to the compass at the top of the screen: "Play Boss Battle Alone" and "Play Boss Battle With Crew". You would think that the different buttons would take you to different Boss Battles, but NO. That would make too much sense, I guess.

I sent in feedback that, considering how difficult it is to get a crew together on Test , PotCO should develop an alternate solo version of the BB. Unfortunately, they haven't listened to me yet. :psmiley35:

Angel - she just joined a guild recently for the first time for that purpose. Unfortunately, she, at 28, is the highest level of the guild. So they go in, they get SLAUGHTERED. She needs somebody with a staff ASAP. I'm gonna see if I can gather my guild up to help her (but per our gripe in the Adult Server thread, it's kinda hard to tell them who's coming when I can't type her pirate name..."Look for the girl pirate...uh..with..red hair and..uh..boots and...a hat. That narrows it down.")

Stormrunner - it's the same way on live. Both of us thought we were gonna be cool and do it WITHOUT a crew and hit the BB alone button.
