What makes one elite? Taste in nachos? Perhaps some wine and nachos?

Lucrecia Merlose 05-29-2008 03:45 AM

Wine and nachos? Wow...that's kind of close to what I had for dinner. How elite is Shiraz and Tortilla soup with avocado?

League 05-29-2008 11:08 PM

Not as elite as beans and heartache... or be that bellyache?

Off the topic me hosts a question: what does the 'L' in POTCOL stand for?

PiratenamedPete 05-29-2008 11:15 PM

LOl reason that I said 30+ was to show you what i mean by ELITE

PiratenamedPete 05-30-2008 12:24 PM

The L in POTCOL is part of OL meaning online

Hmmm nice wording in your post subject, gets peoples attention, but then what?

Why would someone join this guild.

What makes yours different from the other lv30+ only guilds out there?
(this hardly makes it 'Elite')

Simple, the name and the people that join it. No 2 guilds are alike unless of course the same people join with new characters in a different guild.

superblackdoom 06-09-2008 01:21 AM

besides we have good people and or powerful

now he gave up on 30 so anyone (maybe everyone idk bout basics) can join

I never understood the who idea behind an "elite" guild. What makes any guild elite? Player levels? Experience? History? I really don't think there's much of a truly elite guild in the first place. But that's just my opinion. To me, Elite is more of a state of mind, rather than a status as a player/pirate in the game. More of an ego boost really. And I'm not saying this to hash up a big argument here, so please don't take it that way. I can see in other games that are far more in depths than Pirates currently is, that an Elite guild is perhaps a founding guild, people are from the very very start and have stuck with the game over the years, know the ins and outs, suffered through the ups and downs, something to that effect.

But a pirate level does not an elite player make. What about those players working on second, third, and fourth pirates? Do they only become "elite" when that one particular pirate reaches 30 and not before?

These were the obvious things I already knew, thank you though!

Most guilds have or try to have a unique angle, or approach, etc.. War Wenchs, all or mostly all female pirates. Foul Windbags, my guild, only allows people over 25 years of age in it. Glitch Pirates is a guild that seeks out glitchs frequently. Some guilds have claimed French alliance, while others Spanish. Thats what I was asking about. The things that make the personality of your guild different from the rest.

Why did I ask? Because your asking people if they want to join your guild yet you dont tell them a thing about it other than its name and that its members will be level 30+ which does nothing to describe the personality of the guild.

Sell it! ;)
