Here's how to take an in-game screenshot:

For PC - Hit [F12] to hide the interface and then [F9] to take the screenshot.
For Mac - Hit [F12] to hide the interface and then [Command-Control+Shift+3].

Even though I'm totally anit-iPod (i-anything)...I'm totally going to try to win this one!! I've already got a good amount of ship battle shots!

LOL if you win you could donate to me :). Ive got plenty of great shots already and well, gives me more of a chance to go sailing :)

lol i'm glad they released this....not for the competition but i'm lvl 40 and never knew how to take a screen shot lol, if i pressed prt screen it would just be black.

Yeah, took me forever to figure out I could push F12...makes your shots look so much better.

The only problem that I have with this contest is that I believe many people are stuck playing at low resolution with the low-end graphics set-up...I know I am. I hope Disney doesn't just go for the prettiest looking shot and not the most cinemetographical....lol, I don't think that's a word, but it should be!

Although i prefer F9, I never had problem using Shift + PrintScreen
to capture screenshot of potco. I paste it in Paint and save it.

If you want to use the print screen button you can:

Just hit the print screen button.

If that doesn't work, try holding down shift, then push the print screen button.

If that doesn't work, try holding down the alt button, then push the print screen button.

If that doesn't work, try holding down the ctrl (control) button, then push the print screen button.

If that doesn't work, I don't know what to do then LOL. Maybe just use their F9 button, I never have used it though.

Or press Function (Fn, Fct, etc.) and Print Screen at the same time.

I got a few shots that are perfect for this contest :D

I hope a) they provide more instructions to users on getting those pics - I had to post an Instruction Page on the Guild Site just to help those trying to find those screenshots b) be better still if their install moved the pics to the My Documents folder c) number of entries per person? will there be a limited number? if not and we all start submitting by the 1000's they wil never find a winner... :D

Ive got a great shot too, and would love to know how many we can submit. Im hoping at least 3!!!
