Sorry, no funny pix this time, just a message for the Wenches. Looks like my lupus has caught up with me again so I doubt I'll be playing the game for a bit. Hopefully a couple days' sleep will fix me up and I'll be back soon. If you need to, you can reach me through the forums or through my daughter. I'll start a separate thread regarding her.

Thanks. The best thing you can do to help me is to be there when I get back. You can't imagine how many people cut out on you when you get sick. I get better and go back and they've moved on, or I'm just too effing exhausted to play with them so they delete me from their friends' list (are you reading this, Thomas?).

Ah yes, the censorship of the forum. Ive noticed that alot lately. Ive been on forums since 96 and modded many even admin on one......I have never had my posts edited as much as I have in my short time here. Not just that but when they do get edited, its for simple stuff.....I have only had one mod have the courtesy to let me know why I was edited and that I thank. They dont even let you know when you have a thread removed for a certain reason!

I've spent MANY years as a writer learning how to write the truth, and that means using whatever words are necessary, whether they are four-letter words or proper, grammatically-correct English. In the game, I watch what I say because there are children present, but in an adult guild, it's impossible. Wenches - you accepted me as one of your own and made me feel right away like I was one of you. I want to be able to talk to all of you the same way I would talk to any of my friends - the same way I write. I want to use whatever words the situation calls for and not have to worry about someone hanging over my shoulder with an eraser at the ready. (Or, I might add, to worry about having a child overhear me.) Bella started a group for us so we would have the opportunity to do just that: to be adult friends. I say let's make use of it.

By the way, to all the Wenches, and to my other female pirates - Happy Sister's Day!
