OK so I made level 39 night before last, and now halfway through it. 3 Nights, 30k notoriety points... I am wondering how many weapons you guys had left to master at the same point?

I have pistol, doll and grenades mastered, that's all at this point.

Cutlass - 22
Sailing - 17
Cannon - 24
Dagger - 24, was level 18 3 nights ago ;)
Staff - 21

So, what's the story with you guys?

I'd like to hear where to get some decent points for staff too if you guys have any good spots. The others I can handle. :)

I just hit 39, and only my doll and sailing are mastered. Grenades are 15...because I HATE them. LoL

Everything else is either 23 or 24.

As far as places to level the staff, I do everything at the Tormenta Cave. Line up a few there and you're good to go. :)

I hit 39 on Hunter and I have Sailing and nades mastered. Everything else is at 21 or higher. Cannons is at 24 right now and almost mastered too.

Best thing for staff is 5-6 banish on stumps (I think might even work on the tormenta crew too) and then finish them off with something else. The banish is a really low attack on living so it will do very lil damage yet net in the high reps of 100 (or more in crew).

Try going to catacombs and level the staff, kingshead is good too

With Pirate #1 Gladoivs - All weapons were mastered except Staff and Dagger (L24) and Gernades (L20) - Sailing and Cannon were also mastered...

With current Pirate #2 Decimvs - because of the extra spots for Noriety in Mini-Quests and a few pick-up quests from NPCs in Towns, I would think my Gernades and Dagger will be lower this time (at 37 - His Cutlass, Doll are now mastered, the Pistol is almost and I'm pushing his Staff harder to have it Mastered before he hits 40...).

I'm almost to level 39 (about 3K to go). I have Cutlass, Pistol, Doll and Dagger mastered (just finished the dagger yesterday).

Grenades are level 16 and I doubt I will master them unless I can find a better way to use them on stumps (the Kingshead parade group gives me 30 pts max TOTAL).

Staff is 20. Sailing is 23 and cannons 21. I have been grinding the land weapons pretty heavily (mostly in Beckett's Quarry and the high level EITC soldiers) and I think it's time to go out to sea for a while and work on sailing and cannons. Those should take me well into Level 39 and then I guess I'll go to Tormenta and work on the staff (although I might investigate the banish on stumps aspect first since I can stand there and take the abuse while I'm casting the low damage curses.

Yes - banis works in Tormenta very well against the Molusk or Brinescum (just Hex them first then 6-7 shots of Banish is an Easy 100+ REP on staff)

But .... nice tip on the Stumps :) I'll have to try it :)

I'm about 15k away from level 40 and I have everything mastered with the exception of the cannon which is a 21 and I'm working on tonight and my grenades are a 14 and I HATE them.

My question is what happens when you hit level 40 and you are still leveling.... do you get any points for them??? Or is it once you've hit notoriety 40 you are done getting points?

Once you hit 40, you dont get any more points to your notoriety. However if you check DxD, you can see that you still are gettin points. My Angel was 40 when I hit....once she was fully mastered, she was notoriety 42. Maybe once they raise the cap they will also comp us the earned notoriety points?

From what I hear (now... where did I hear that from... can't remember...) you're gonna get those points credited I think... ?:)

As it is my 2nd pirate has a much better setup than the first - so I'll probably keep playing him for more 'stashed' points...

For me to hit 40 i had everything mastered except for grenades which was 11, i had to do all the jewlerry and tatoo quests and all new weapon quests. Pretty much everything except grenades to 11.

Well I am now about 8k from 40 and the only thing on that list I have mastered is my dagger. Going to master Cutlass tonight and I will need about 1k more after to make 40. So, I will have plenty of sailing to do lol.

i'm a level 40 and i have everything mastered except my sailing which is at 19.
