NO just keep it at one point though. I believe unlocking every skill is a good idea to try it out. But only one point on it.

hmmm, should I concentrate on throwing and enhancing refresh time for cutlass and dagger special; skills? In other words, cutlass for melee, dagger for throwing?

It all depends on what your plans are. I use the skill points on passives and have even quite a few saved up for future use. If your looking for higher reps out of them, then dont skill up them. One point should keep them low enough power to net you higher reps. (Stupid way the game works, the less damage you do, the longer it takes....the higher reps u get). If your not worried about that, then skill them up to kill faster.

i think asp is a decent skill, if only for the use of skipping cut entirely, good opener, combined with adder, keeps the cycle going.

sorta off topic, but is there anyone out there who DID max asp or adder? and that can tell me the base damage of them with 5 dots? curious to know here.
