Yes, Disney doesn't allow name changes in their games so you must start a new pirate for a different name. ^^

I think we should be able to request a name change in the game. It would be nice then I could change ASH's name lol.

Have someone report your name as an obscenity.

No, it's not possible to change names without making an entirely new character. Although I would really like it for Disney to make that possible some time.....

A few years back, we were able to request character name changes on Toontown. Iirc, it wasn't actually stated anywhere on the TT site that you could do this, but the info spread that you could just email them and request a change. As you can imagine, some people, mostly kids, wanted to change their character name every other week. Finally, Disney stopped doing it. Not surprising really - I'm sure they were overwhelmed by requests.

I wish they would approve names faster at times. I been waiting for a name approvak for 2 weeks now. They say they are back logged with approvals. How hard is it to say yes oe no. I will not play that pirate till she is no longer a Buccanear lol.

Two weeks seems like a really long time...

I've made four (two on the main and two on the freebie...what do you call them here? Mules? LoL), and all were approved by the next day.

I got denied on my basic porate within a day. Guess the name was a bit too obvious lol.

I made 2 others as well and they took less than 24 hours. What stinks is if they say no I have to come up with another then wait again.

Well, They denied my first name however my second name was approved. Just keep resubmiting it.

I had my first name denied.

When I created a second pirate, I used that same name again, and it was accepted.
