Ship Prices Gone Down

Not sure if anyone has posted this, but did anyone notice the Frigate, Galleon and Sloop are cheaper? Frigate is now 5K. Most of us bought them for 8K, lol.

Lol. I didnt notice that. thanks for posting, though I need war galleons to go down. I hope the repair price goes down too.

Isn't this interesting:

The War Ships are still just as overpriced as usual!

Ever go to the store and buy something, and a few months later the price goes down? It happens. Oh well.

Soul Patch The Fiesty 05-06-2008 08:27 PM

Remember the circuit city commercial where that happens to the kid, and he takes the ad back to Circuit City, and they give him the difference in cash? That would be nice . . . considering this is just emoney.

Same issue came up with some of the other weapons they now have quests for. The previous 'elite' (ie expensive) weapons upgrades now cost like 10% of thier original cost.

I guess its just comes with the territory, ie type of game, and need for new content.

The cost of being the first on the block to have it... Lol

actually i like them that high sure they are a challenenge but ITS A GAME they are practically handing you the weapons

stop looking for the easy way out! abusing glitches wanting prices to drop plus i dont want 1000000 war frigates sailign around the seas so u people need to suck it up

Angel 05-06-2008 09:11 PM

So that means those that spent 8k for the frigate, now can sell it for 2500......loss of 1500 from the previous 4k sale.

Discussing this 'depreciation' of object values in the game has nothing to do with glitching or taking easy ways out.

Perhaps this response is keyed off one of the individual responses in this thread (quote function is great for that.. ) :)

I'm not saying the price drop was a bad idea. I do agree with Chris where he says he doesn't want 1000+ War Frigates sailing around. It does seem kind of cheap they only dropped the price for those and not the War ships though. At least drop them by the same amount as the Frigate or so.

League 05-06-2008 11:45 PM

Nonsense: the War ships don't need a drop. Regardless, I bought a Frigate just about a week before the release (and I haven't even really been playing prior to the release). I lost 3000. When I resell, I'll be down 1500 extra. 4500! If anyone has a reason to be pieved, then it's me. But I'm not, and neither should anyone else.

The Tri-barrel Pistol was another deal that I lost out on.

DarthChaosSky 05-06-2008 11:48 PM

True. Oh well. Prices soar and drop. I blame global warming.

This is like buying a car. When it first comes out, everyone wants it, so you go and buy it. Then, when it's a year old and the craziness dies down, it goes down in price. It's not like you would go to the store and scream at the manager, you would keep the car and move on with life.
