New Quest Tats and Jewlery Pics
 

Just want to see if we're all getting the same items. Here's what i have so far, as I've only done the Tortuga quests...

the nose piercings look creepy

I received the following tattoos doing the various "tattoo quests" that are now available.

Arm tats are good for both arms.

It appears everyone is getting the same tat's for the same quests. Rare? lol

where is that quest?

When I snagged a bunch at once, Im not sure where each came from, however im sure the pectoral tattoo came from Lala Lovel at Tortugas tattoo shop after appeasing her neighbors who were apparently complaining.

Here is the items I have received from the jewerly quests. 4 of which I have found/completed.
All but the nose piercing were ummm just a little too feminine for my preferences... and that nose piercing.. well as said before ewwww!

I put the place where I got the quest next to them as best I could remember.. I beg forgiveness should I have gotten one wrong.. hehe.

The Green Nose piercing and red lip ring kinda reminds me of christmas decorations, LOL.

Dang, I wanted Diamonds!

I must say i'm a bit disappointed. I'd hoped they would have such quests from randomly selected steps, and random pools of mobs/ships, etc to create multiple quests that did not reward notoriety but some rare items, clothes, jewelry, and tattoos. At least have them pull from a pool of random items that one can repeat to acquire different items, and so that all pirates didnt get the same thing. It seems they want to tie notoriety to most of these quests, which made them pretty much a loss to those of us at level 40. I now have 4 new pieces of jewelry that I have no interest in. lol. I can sell them, but then I cant do more quests to get other items.... grrrr.

Actually, you cant sell or discard tattoos you have quested for. So if I want to buy an arm tattoo, i have to sell the one and only arm tattoo i ever purchased, lol... great (I have 3 quested arm tattoos per arm).

So if you like your purchased tattoos... dont bother questing! (wondering what happens if you had 4 and then quested for tattoos)

That's a good point Samuel, wonder what happens if your inventory is full?! Perhaps the quest doesn't even register.

And I also was hoping for more stellar of a reward. Alas, alack, a lark, not in the cards.

I swear the sell option came up on my quested tats...may have to remove my foot from mouth later...I'll re chech that on my pirate :)

Well we wouldnt want ya to do that now...

On mine where it gives the "Sell" option on my purchased tats, it gives the gold "asterisk/star" referencing a quest item (similar to what it shows on the tracker for quests in progress). Clicking on the asterisk/star does nothing. These tats have only the Wear/Takeoff button.

I notice it does say page 1/1 at the bottom, so maybe some already with a couple of arm tattoos, and got the 3 questing arm tats might end up with more than 4? It definately will not let me purchase another one though, clearly states im only allowed 4 if I try.

You're right, I went back in and looked at my collection. There was a little "gold star" but no option to sell. Drat.

On what I thought was an interesting note.
I was just on the official POTCO website and noticed in thier news announcement of new tattoo quests, that the 3 pictures they show there, have all of the quest tattoos displayed.

3 pictures.. 1st pic has girl in background with the hieroglyph on arm, male pirate foremost has pectoral tattoo over eye tattoo, and tiki arm tattoo. 2nd pic guy has the 1 other facial tattoo, and 3rd picture is girl with same over eye tattoo as guy in 1st pic. Yup, those 3 little pics embodied the entire tattoo quests additions.
