Site down for early morning maintenance
 

Pirates went down for maintenance at the usual 3:15am last night. One thing that I am hoping is that my pirate who got "stuck" after the boss battle crashed will be "unstuck" - I was told that it takes a server restart to fix this, and sometimes it can be days. Otherwise, my pirate is showing up as 'Already Online' and I can't get on that one and play. But more than that, I'm hoping that whatever they did was to work on the issues that are keeping so many of our friends from being able to jump on the game and play. Has anyone noticed any improvements in the game play? No longer crashing when going into the High Seas? Cutting down on the choppiness and lag? TPing to someone no longer takes 10 minutes? Weapons no longer getting stuck? I want good news here! I miss my guildies who haven't been able to play since the update came along and messed things up for them.

If your pirate is stuck online, the server reset will kick it out of it's rut and you will be able to get back online.

As for the crashing at sea, lag and teleporting issue, that's your computer. I'm able to play just fine.

Those were issues that affected gameplay between two dates where there were updates back to back. As far as I have seen and heard, cannons are appearing on ships all the time now, TP'ing is as fast as it was, the sea is fine, weapons no longer sticking, etc.

i did have a weapon stick on my yesterday, but I F'd over to a new weapon and back to it, and it worked fine, no perma jam by my gun.

I did board a ship, start throwing grenades, and they all just fell threw the deck and I heard them go into the water. Then my screen went black and I had to restart.

The gameplay has pretty much been the same for me. I did switch to a newer PC and couldnt play on it due to the fact I need a better graphics card. Other than that the issues have been slowly resolved.

It's good to hear that the kinks are being worked out, albeit slowly. I was fortunate enough not to suffer any of the problems brought around by the update. Unfortunately, I mentioned this just before the Boss Battle crashed and I got stuck. :laughks2: Maybe I jinxed myself. lol. I'm going to pop on now and keep my fingers crossed that my guildies that were having some of the problems that I mentioned are up and running once again. Thanks for the responses.

v11.2 Did fix a lot of the Guilds and my issues - and I've been able to only find one (well ok - two) since...

I crash when leaving Jail :D Donno why - if I TP out to where I am... I'm fine. If I actually open the door to walk outside - I get the 'Black Screen of Death' LOL So , after I 'break out' I just have to remember to TP to the yard...

I did Ship Board Crash once from Toug two days ago - but - I also had been in the game for several hours and it may of been a combo of factors (switching full screen to window mode several times - surfing the net - memory leaks - bunch of stuff)

That - and this cold I have is crampin my gameplay :(

Hoping that they continue to work on items - as I know several out there are still waiting for small fixes...

Any time I try to use cannons while sailing on my own ship, my entire computer freezes and I have to reboot.

All my problems WERE fixed...But now after I put my password into the login screen, my game either loads to the pirate page, then closes the game when I select my pirate, or it won't load the pirate select page at all. Thought it might be because I was using a different computer, but it's done the same on both of them now.

Davy, suggestion....Dont use a cannon.....
