Idea for sailing timer
 

I tested it a while back, as we know, we just sink after an hour of sailing. I have a better idea. Instead of just sinking, why not there be a fog, take you to another plain, like they do with a pvp. Here you will fight the Squid-Faced-guy... ****, forogt his name...
Either way, you will fight him, and if you sink him you get like, one minute to get to land before the kracken comes for you. But if the minute runs out, instead of you just being sunk, you get a chance to fight the kracken, just like on the movie, but no explosives, jsut shooting it.
If you win, you are automatically teleported to your port of call. You lose, and you get to watch a kick tail movie of you getting your ship sunk by the kracken. Sound cool?

P.S. This thing should give you like, 500 xp for sinking the guy and like 1000 for the kracken, thus, make it hard.

I like the idea, but I think, like the movies, you should have to fight the Kraken then Davy Jones. And instead of fighting him, you should have to defeat a Flying Dutchman flagship. The ship timer should also be set to 30 minutes.

Yeah, but the kracken would be an awsome change to the game and Davy Jones kinda goes with it.

Great Idea! however then u will sadly have people just sitting there waiting to be sunk just to do the battle but i LOVE the idea!

I'd sit there waiting to be sunk. That battle would be fun!

yea but if its the newest chapter then what about roger, we only got the black pearl backthre are still skellies afoot, and isnt the flying dutchman wrecked in the tormenta cave

Not that I would want to sail for a rl hour. How much plunder can you hold anyway? It seems there should be a reward for staying afloat for an hour, not a consequence.
And yeah, bring on the Villans!!!
