User CP Question
 

I just changed the skin of my user CP, very cool, nice fearture :) Problem though...pics aren't showing up. Is this possibly a problem on my end, or a site issue?

If you are talking about your personal pic, I see it on my end.

You might have checked it to not show sigs or pix on your end. I think its in your options on your profile?

BTW, we added room to display a second pirate character in everyone's profile. You have the option now to display if your pirate is on the open or test server.

also that entire customize the forum thing what is that? liek where u can make the forum look the way you want it?

Aye... A great feature. Having said that, I do have some thoughts... Dangerous of me to think, I know. It seems when you go in to edit the pirates stats, the list is completely jumbled. Is there a way to sort it? Thanks in advance.

You can now customize your personal profile with different colors, fonts, and images. Just something fun to personalize it a bit.

Let me reword that...the pics are showing up, but there are spots where i'm getting a little red "x" in a box. Like on this page, right under the thread header where there s an option to "reload this page" I'm seeing a little red "x" in a white box and Reload this page in text. (next to the Reply to this Thread option, over there, to the left, at the top :) ) That is showing up by all my user CP options as well. I tried to right click on it and then "show picture" but that's not helping.

Bat, I was wondering something too about profiles while we're on the customization subject. I noticed in the updates the Nick posted that there was also an album option where we could use pics to customize our profile. Did this accidentally get removed, or was this a planned removal for POF to prevent problems?

I'm using the dark skin and everything looks fine. Are you using the tan skin?

Yes, using the light brown skin. (easier for the old eyes LOL) I'll try the other. :)

The new version of vB 3.7 came with a gallery type thing in user's profiles where you created albums and added your images to it. Since we already have and paying for the gallery, there's no need for that. The gallery is by far, better. So we've disabled vB's albums.

Ah, ok, everything is showing up now. Guess I'll just have to squint a little, hehe

Ah, I see. Hopefully they'll plan someway in the future that the regular Vb Gallery can be used to customize profiles instead.

Ok, I had a feeling it was just a problem with that skin. We'll have to upload the missing images for that skin. Should have it fixed soon. Thanks for reporting the problem.
