New Dagger quest, cant find 10+ lvl guards
 

Has anyone had any luck finding the "3 guards lvl over 10" for the new dagger? This is what the story says, the green tracking writing says Lvl 10+ Navy Soliders, but I've killed dozens and no luck.

They don't have to be guards, any navy soldier over level 10.

yea i know i got confused by it too just kill anything navy lvl 10+

I had to kill about a dozen lvl 17 Navy Veterens before my quest started updating ...

Just keep hunting those lvl 10+ navy guys and eventually it will work ...

I did it at Fort Charles in Port Royal ...

It does seem that with the new weapons quests you have to defeat more of the required 'person/critter/ship' than before. I know with some of the tasks I had to defeat twice as many as I actually need to complete it.

Yes and it is frustrating!! Especially when it's a tough one! the First one is often the hardest, especially for someone like me who is not so good at fighting the foes! . . . . . once you have done it once you have a better idea how to approach the next one, seems to me a reward ought to happen with that first to give you incentive to go for the next :laughks2:

Seems since the new quests have come out everything is alot harder to obtain than just the weapon quest stuff. I just headed to padres and played at the fort there or Beckets Quarry.

i feel your pain on that one..it took me 1 relog and 30 navy sargs to actually COMPLETE, i killed roughly 30, got ziltch..then switched servers, nadda..logged off and when i came back it told me i had completed the 3. but now every time i kill a random navy guy when im playing, it tells me ive completed the quest STILL, and i have my dagger :|
