Sites down for Maintenance

Lets just hope they will be fixing the bugs and issues that arised today from the weapons upgrades. They have been forced to rush them to open and as with the Boss were fast to resolve any issues that came up through out the day. Kudos to Disney! :buds:

Man I personally hope they fix them all although I doubt it, seems like the one bout people getting kicked off is not going to be an easy one...Everyone in my guild was getting booted left and right...Screens were freezing cannons were going wry just nothing seemed to be working right..

Yeah, it was weird. We have one guildee who is "Booty Queen" in our guild. Well, she gave it out to half the guild tonight. They were being booted left and right!!!

I never had a problem with disconnections... I did notice sometimes I couldn't take the helm on a ship, or man a cannon until I relogged. And if I tried to teleport to someone it glitched and put me in the water under the ship when I was having that problem.

But yea, I saw alot of my guild mates/friends disconnect all night long.

I resemble that remark, LOL! Sorry if it was me that gave out "the Boot" last night. It was really awful. :psmiley27:

Why? Bad planning? Sloppy work? Somebody put a voodoo hex on the updates? Here's an idea: why not wait till they've got the updates READY before they release them? Don't say, "Coming in April". If you think the updates will be ready in April, say May. Then instead of a slew of angry pirates threatening to cancel their subscriptions because the updates are late, you'd end up with a gaggle of happy pirates because the release came out a day or two early.

I like your thinking Lib. :)

Well I think what happened is, they still want to make their deadlines, but slacked early on and didn't get to work all the bugs out. I'm sure its actually easier to figure out what's going on when it hits live than on test. Since more people are playing / complaining. But I'm ok with them being out for a day, then down for a fix, will probably fix problems in this order:
-gun jamming bug
-several ship related (TP'ing and being under ship, no cannons on ship, can't man cannon on ship)
-Slight increase to potion effectiveness
-Ammo Pouches (I believe these are bugged, for instance, you start off being able to hold 50 fireballs, buy small pouch, your capacity is increased BY 75 to 125 . . . I believe this is supposed to increase your capacity TO 75 (or by 25), Also, I don't believe they are supposed to stack the way they are (where if you buy small + medium at the same time, you get 50 + 75 + 100 = 225 capacity, I believe the capacity was probably meant to be 100 if you buy the medium). That is a speculation though, maybe they wanted to give a boost to sea combat with the upcoming ship PvP, which, if you haven't seen, has been comfirmed there will be at some point ship PvP, as well as the addition of Davy Jones and the Kraken.
