Money?

I have a question, I hear that the game will cost money from some people, but others say that it is free. Does anyone know if the game will cost anything? If so try to get the exact price. Thanks.

What I have heard, is that for the full version, that means you get everything in the game if you get it, costs $9.95 a month. There will also be a free version, but you won't have as many abillities to do stuff in the game, like you would in the pay version.

thank you so much.

Hi last i heard was that Disney services is going to be doing the billing for this so i am ure it will be prices right around the same price for all the other
MMO's like Star wars and WOW so u are looking at like a 10 day free trial and then $15 buck a month.. but it is like way to early to know. I just hope that us beta testers get a little deal once the real version hits the stores. like Sony did for star wars.. Beta testing is so much fun isn't it :D

According to several news articles, the pay version will be $9.95/month. Here's one:

Interestingly, that review of the game gives far more detail than any of us have mentioned in posts. I have read two others, one was an interview with Mike Goslin, that spilled ALOT of info.

I think as long as we stay general in our posts we will be okay.

I'm curious to know what advantages you get for being a full member...

searage 04-19-2007 08:01 PM

from what i've gleaned, you'll get access to more quests, and your client won't have all the ads! woot!

Stella Ruby 04-19-2007 08:17 PM

According to the Goslin interview, paying players have no ads.
Non-paying players have only 1/3 of the access to the various locations and can do only 1/3 of the quests. Plus they have the annoying flashing ads.

It costs $9.95 a month to become a full
member, but I think they will have some
sort of a deal like ToonTown has. If you
become a full member, you will get access
to more areas of POTCOnline, an ad-free
screen, and much more special privileges.

its funny you say that beacuse I read in a game magazine and if i find the stupid articale I will post it .. that Pirates will follow all other MMO's on the market and offer a ad filled free 10-day trial, then you will have to pay to continue playing,, at least its only 10 bucks look Star wars and WOW are $15 bucks
