How long do posts take to show up???
 

I authored a post earlier asking for some technical assistance with the game...that was some 5 hours ago...and still doesn't show on the forums.

I'm beginning to lose faith in this game I have grown to like. Even gaining the ability to post, required a significant amount of hoops to jump through.

Why the delay of some 5 hours for a post to show before anyone can even offer any help?

if u are newer to the site mods must watch your posts but after 1-3 weeks you can post just as fast as the rest of us

Wierd...and no sooner did I make that second thread...my original showed up, right below it.

I guess they need to make sure I'm not a trouble maker. :)

its to prevent spammers/flamers i can assume, but in all the forums ive been, theres always a handful of people who should never own keyboards, so its an admirable solution but nothings perfect.

it does pose a problem with people needing quick help with quests and technical assistance though.

I just received a very nice email from TooHip explaining among other things, that the mods here are voluteers. I did not know that.

That in itself explains part of the delay. It was also explained that this period of moderation is there to reduce the amount of spam, as Chris also pointed out.

I want to thank TooHip and all the mods for the work they do...these forums definately show the results of that dedication.
