Browsing the Disney.co.uk website I came across this page

Does this mean that Disney are planning regional POTCO?

Will I be able to port my pirate across rather than start from scratch?

What will happen to my guild if I port across? How do I promote someone to take my place as guild leader?

In the About the Game section - it says "Captain you Own Ship - Purchase, Customise and Command your own ship"

Does this mean Custom Ships are finally arriving? Will they only be in the Eurpoean Servers? Will the current ones get them??

I may need to port my pirate THERE if they get to customise their ships!! :)

Now as my mother and her family are English - I also notice that they will get to play Darts! (understandable as my Grand-parents were BIG dart players)

Too bad most of those screen-shots are almost fake though (no PvP ships, Jack in Padres, many of the non-existant scenes currently...)

Maybe I need to lay down now... ;)

No No No - the Euro servers are ours :laughks2:. I don't want to spend all day trying to explain the intricacies of the noble game of darts to our American cousins.

When will the Euro servers start allowing out Pirates to challenge each other to that totally mind bending piece of Englishness that is cricket. :piratetongueor4:

Ahh... I am reminded of the WDC match between Dennis Priestly and Larry Butler now. It was quite humorous to see the announcers calling him "The American" in the early stages of the match, then revert to calling him by name when he was winning. :) So toe the hockey and toss those double tops. I'll be visiting for those ship customizations as well.

Well thats ok - 'cause I'm not Americian... so no need to explain. I'm actually not a bad darts player (thanks to my mother and her parents) :)

Monk - the new sig is pretty sweet :D

In Disney Toontown there are US and UK accounts, but all of them play
on the same server so get same update, quest, and bugs.
Players from both account can meet and play together.
The US account officialy accept US and Canada players only.
While UK account for the rest of the world.
I think the same with Pirate Online.

interesting bc according to that link the game looks nothing like it does on open servers now @_@

Thanks for the compliment on the sig. :D Unfortunately the animated one I made ended up being much too large. I had a frame on the left, under the POTCO logo that contained the faces of Tia, Will, Elizabeth, and Barbosa, all morphing from one to the other. With all the frames to make the transitions smooth, it made the whole sig about 5 Meg. I had to give up on that idea and settle for the static map. The map is a cutout from a map from POTC 3 and is one of the game puzzles, so I cannot take credit for that design. I may add some burn holes and shadowing to it, but mostly, it will remain as it is for the contest voting in a week (hint, hint, nudge, nudge).

You are joking! I hope that they don't and if they do, I hope there is a way I can send my account over otherwise I will cry! :(!

Ive been an american all my life, never been to Europe, and ill beat you at darts, id put money on it.

Its huge in the US too, we have a store that specializes in it just down the street (where i've bought a few different sets of my own personal darts.)

Why would someone think this is a european only game?

Cricket? Ok, ill give whoever mentioned that one thier due. Although its played here, its not common.

The screenshots on that site, appear to all be artist concepts, and not actual game play screens, except maybe the one with the pirate players in it (the first one).

I'm english and I haven't got a clue about cricket either lol. Only us English could invent a game so complicated.
