Ship on & in Port Royal!
 

Well, I was sailing in my ship, the Outlaw Runner, and was heading for Port Royal to dock. I had paid little attention, as I was waiting for the ship to hit land; I'd then just dock. However, I was getting unusually close. Then, of all possible things, I went within Port Royal. I started messing around after that and took some great pictures. If I can figure out how to get them here, I'll post them. First off, I have to find them...

And notice a curious lack of navy sailors around...considering that someone had the gall to sail a ship INTO TOWN.

Of course, if someone was coming after me in something that does broadsides, I'd probably run and hide too...

I've got some really nice shots of this glitch at home - we even took some Guild Pics in the top deck with the Ship "docked" and the town in the background - and some others with the ship in the centre of town - and a third COOL shot of where I took a cannon and shot lighting at the town - and it went off! (I wonder if players in the town seen it??)

I took the best pic! (I really got to get it up...) My ship was on land, but, like in water, the bottom was submerged. So, I went to higher elevation: The Governor's Mansion. My ship was under the ground, but my mast wasn't. Hence, there was a ship-style flag pole just sticking out of the ground. I also took a good shot of Fort Charles.

I did that. My pic was really bad because despite the fact that I was on the island, I was still being shot at by a pursuing Navy Ship. Not sure how that happened.

I have managed to get a bugged dock button. It stayed up no matter where I sailed, after I hit full cargo I just clicked it and presto, from the middle of the ocean to docking.

Never saw it again though, rather nifty it was.
