EITC Handkerchief quest
 

Hi everyone,

I just started this game Wednesday night, and I love it. I am at the quest where I need to get a handkerchief from an EITC soldier in a cave on Tortuga. Where is this cave? Is it Thieve's Den? Any help would be great.

PS- Does this forum have a search feature?

yes i do believe it is in the thevies den all u have to do is kill the thug might want to bring friends if u are low level

Is he in that castle-thing that the Navy guys are standing in front of in Thieve's Den? What level is he?

Task: Recover a handkerchief from and EITC Soldier.

Description: Defeat assassin Claude D'Arcis who is disguised as and East India company officer - EITC Soldiers are in a cave in Tortuga.

That cave in Tortuga is really hard for a low level pirate (without some friends).

I remember getting that handkerchief after sinking an EITC ship (I think it was a Corvette).

That's still not easy in a light sloop but eaiser than wading through all the other nasties.

The ETIC are the guys in black coats. For this quest, just head in the main entrance and cross the water. There are two ETIC's there. When you attack one soldier, everyone will come at you, so it's best to bring friends. The highest level soldier is an eight.


and yes, there is a search option for the forums. This question has come up more than a few times, but it's sometimes easier to just re-ask than search thru a gagillion threads :)

oh that task ok yea on tortuga go to the graveyard (the tree stump next to the gypsy) head to the back enter the cave you are now in the theives den head across the water you will see some guys and a tent with some supplies and u will also see a thug (lvl 4-9) attack him however when u do everyone else attacks u so u might want to be high lvl or have a healer

Which entrance are you talking about; the one through the wildwoods? (not sure if there are any more)
