Good day all. For my 100th post here, I thought I would share a maniacal moment. Chaos Math has nothing on POTCO Math. For some reason, though I worked only one weapon and never even went to see Jack on Tortuga or Tia for Doll and Teleport, I ganed more rep (notoriety wise) than I did on the weapon. Does the gold you loot add to the Notoriety rep?

And now, for the Math Moment:

Just in case anyone wondered what level Notoriety you would get to with only working a single weapon from the beginning.

Insanity is defined as "Repeating the same task over and over and expecting a different result". So what does that make me? Tired of swinging my cutlass.

How much total notoriety did you gain on the weapon?

I don't quite recall... I will try to keep track when I build another.

If I'm understanding your question, you gained more notoriety rep than weapon rep?

Could be many things affecting that. I can only assume you did no quests, whether storyline quests or side quests. Did you get any treasure unlocked? See Elizabeth?

I was thinking it takes more rep to level weapons than your character, but Pirate Rose sounds more reasonable.

I've been wondering if you can do that...geuss you can. LOL

Perhaps the 25 rep per treasure you mentioned on another post had something to do with it. Do the generic first 2 treasures give you that rep also? I had not even gotten the teleports. Sailing and Cannon were at 0 also.

Notoriety is going much slower now. I have made it to Pistols 11 and just turned L20. I will try to keep from doing any single quest to see if I can master all weapons before I reach L40. I heard rumor that it could be done.

im at level 36 with no quest done, almost to 37

mastered the land based weapons..except grenade (22)

and sailing is 19, cannon 20.

did all the tp and treasure quests, weapon quests so some notoriety points were gained, and im too lazy to do the math to see if i can hit 40 solely on leveling.

Wow....bored much? I think ASH might want to PVP him, but we can only use dolls :)

Awww... I've not gotten my dolly yet. :) If ASH is scared, I understand. No reason to humiliate her. :P

and yea u are lvl 19 with a mastered cutlass im 34 with a lvl 20 cutlass @_@ dont i feel special

That's kinda what I did with my sailing. It's a lvl 18 now, but my cannon's JUST got to lvl 9.
