Apartments on Tortuga, Port Royal, and Kingshead

What if they had small apartments on all the main islands. You could buy them and just have a place to hang out in with friends. The cheapest shacks would be on tortuga for a base price of around 2-500 gold. Then the middle class would be on Port Royal for between 1-2000 gold. Then the upperclass ones on Padres for between 8-10000 gold. You could furnish them, and have like display cases where they could see your weapons and skills. Any opinions on this?

that would be awesome but id still prefer a private island Woo Hoo

Then it would end up like Millsberry.com.

great idea. hopefully in islands of other players

I don't think that the navy will let you settle in Port Royal. LOL XD ROFL

Captain Fireskull 04-20-2008 03:44 PM

that would be great. but Id like the idea of private islands

???? Like guild halls? Where your guild-mates could hang out, or actual apartments/houses like in Oblivion?

I see the concept just not clear on the why?

Both. You could buy one for yourself, or you could buy one and have it be a meeting hall. They'd be apartments, since there's vast doors that either can't be opened, or can and nothing's in them.

Why Not Guild Islands where you can put all this stuff on them like stores, homes for the members, meeting halls, taverns, Maybe even places where you can fight enemies? The Guild could get a percentage of the profit made from the stores, but they have to buy stuff for them.

I like the idea of a guild hall or somewhere for your guild to meet

oh my god NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!! ok. there would be 50,000,000,000,000 islands then!!!!! ok. what i am thinking is an apartment on your ship that you can gamble in and the nine rouges would hang on the wall and etc. only those on your ship could go in if you were in there. you could not be attacked. maybe one door that leads to everyones house. only you could go in yours. so in shipwreck cove, there would be one door that leads to the meeting place for your guild. and another door that has bretheren lords so you can privateer for them. as for one door per player, NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!

The ship idea would be even more astronomical. It is "per pirate" not per guild. This immediately multiplies your number quite a bit further (not to mention each pirate has 3 ships).

Each guild, or even each pirate having thier own 'virtual' place, is easily done in a 'virtual' world.

The idea of each pirate/guild having thier own island, I actually think works better than the ship idea, It would be physically the "same" island on the map for everyone, but take each pirate to thier private or guilds area on that island when they land there. It can be done. Furthermore, we wouldnt have 50 trillion ships just sitting on the water while thier captains throw poker parties.

Not to mention Disney already does this in toontown, if they follow any model, it will likely be that one.

They could also easily call the virtual place you go to, the cabin of your ship (if that sounds cooler).
