Easier Way to Whisper?
 

I have a friend that loves to whisper, even when we're standing side by side. She sometimes catches on when i start talking local, or even in crew. But often she still whispers.

As it stands, I have to hit F (Friends), select her, hit Whisper to reply.

Is that the only way? It's a PITA. If that's the only way, it should show up as a tab like Crew or Guild does, beside the Local tab. So you can carry a normal conversation.

Yep, unfortunately thats the only way. That or since ur unguilded, u can create a guild and ask her to join (drastic way) and then u would be the only ones so no need to whisper. Or you can crew chat just u n her. Other than that the Whisper system is a PITA.

Tried crew chat, she responds in whisper even when i talk in crew . It's ok, and I try to hint at things, she still talks most of the time in whisper. Even crewed, she TPs to me on the ship, lol. Its kinda funny, and cute. And she's lvl 13. But I'm trying to adapt her to how things go.

Honestly, I would stop hinting and tell her flat out to stop whispering to you. Nicely, of course. Maybe she would even appreciate the tip to be able to hold a conversation with you in an easier manner, she might not understand the whole terribly flawed chat system that we have.

I agree, I would just tell her. Something like "Hey, You know you can use the Crew Chat, right?" or "Let's use the crew chat" It's not rude, and maybe she just doesn't know. Stop hinting, and just say it :)

So? Just respond in local/crew chat.

If she wants to jump through all the hoops required to whisper to you, then let her. But that doesn't mean you have to whisper back.
