Ignoring someone?
 

What happens when you ignore someone? Do they get a message saying you're ignoring them? Sometimes I want to work on my weapons alone, but I don't want to be rude. It would be nice if it just said you were unavailable. Or if there were some way you could log on invisibly if you wanted, just so you could get a bit of peace and quiet.

It's not the same thing as deleting someone off your list, you just wont recieve any of there messages, but they won't know you ignored them.

yea i kinda wish it was like vmk where when u log on no one knows u are on unless they see u on there friends list as apposed to potco when u log on the game announces your arrivel to your friends and guild :P

I think this is what happened to me. A "friend" saw me come online and instantly ignored me. I wanted to be helpful and check in and tried to whisper to the friend to ask if he/she needed any help. The whisper line says TO: and it's blank. Didn't notice this after first. Then I typed my question, pressed enter, and it came across my chat log as Whisper to: None. Isn't this verification that I was being ignored? Any verification of this would be greatly appreciated.

Did you whisper through guild or crew? That causes a whisper to none. Otherwise, no clue!

yes I whispered through guild. So, you can whisper to someone unless they are a friend?

If they are a friend, you may whisper to them. If you click on them through crew or guild, it won't work.
