Glitch of the Day
 

Hello one and all. Today I am beginnng a new thread entitled "Glitch of the Day" where I will be posting screenshots from whichever glitches I encounter. I will not post glitches that others show me, without giving them credit, but will mostly be posting my own. I have been getting quite bored lately and found it a nice escape from the ever so tiring plunder-loot-level-plunder-loot-level.

Welcome to Segment 2 of the GotD thread. This time, we will be exploring the structures of Tortuga, as well as some random island glitching. Of the accessible buildings on Tortuga, there were only 4 that I was unable to get outside of and of those, three I have been unable to glitch at all. Please enjoy this short tour of the Tortugan architecture.

First stop was to visit ol' doubting Thomas. Always wondered why he hangs out inside and is tan, but his lady, on the pier is pale.

Wouldn't you know it, the seamstress' shears were dull and asked me to take them in to be sharpened at the blacksmith.

That guy really hit the wallet hard, so I figured I would get some of my coin back the old fashioned way. Of course I would need a gun to do it that way.

After getting caught trying to liberate my fundage back from the blacksmith, they thought that jail was too good for the likes of me.

After being sprung from the joint by my guildmates, I decided to go for a quick drink at the Faithful Bride, though all we had was rum. (Thanks Kate)

After realizing that I could not stand jail, I decided to raise some cash by managing the shipwright. Our prices went up, got a complaint?

After making enough gold back, I decided to do some house shopping. The Tortugan real estate market leaves something to be desired.

Once I found that the houses on Tortuga were nothing more than shanties, I decided it better to just build my own. So I searched high and low for an ideal spot.

Ultimately, I decided to build my place on the top of that hill there, overlooking the town square and the Faithful Bride. Fortunately, it was far enough away from the pigpens to make it the best smelling place on Tortuga.

Good evening piratical type persons and welcome to another installment of Glitch of the Day. A couple changes I've made are that each day's post will be made a seperate reply, so when you see a new posting, you will know there is new content, without needing to re-open the thread. Editing the main post does not show as a new post and I hate going lower on the list. The second change is my signature. ASCII art is not seen much anymore, but I decided to get with the times and add a pretty picture for all you bells and whistles people out there. Now onward to segment 3 of the GotD thread - Glitching Cuba.

Unfortunately, there is not a lot to glitch in Cube, therefore this posting will be a little shorter (so I've used multiple shots for some of the locations). Sit back, grab your voodoo doll, and enjoy.

My dolly and I have started to grow apart from one another, so I thought I would make a trip to Cuba to see if I could trade her in. Unfortunately, Tia said that she still had life in her, so I'd have to put up with dolly for another few levels. Not liking her answer, I decided to haid her home.

Unfortunately for me, her pet gator noticed the invasion and chased me out of the swamp. ALL the way out of the swamp. Nice view, really.

Lost as I was, I had to take a long way back to the more habitable parts of Cuba. Getting there was another challenge, but I ultimately made it to the back of the swamp entrance, if that makes sense.

The foliage here is a nightmare to navigate and I thought I'd never make it, until I caught a glimpse of the shipwright's place.

Since I was made it back safely, I thought I'd get a tattoo to commemorate my survival.

I didn't really like the work the Cuban tattoo artist did and I roughed him up a bit. He yelled out l"La migra, La migra!" and I thought he was begging for forgiveness. Only later did I realize that it meant "Immigration" and found myself thrown in the brig once again.

I did manage to tunnel out the back of the jail and found out that Cuba actually has a lake. What I found most unique was the tree growing out of the center of it.

Awestruck, I meditated on this wonder and drifted off into a dreamlike state where I felt like I could fly over the oceans, and that is what I will be covering in the next segment: Segment 4 - Oddities of the Ocean Part 1.

Welcome back all to the 4th installment of Glitch of the Day. Sorry this one took so long, I was busy trying to catch my GM in Notoriety. Alas, I failed and now I'm 2 levels behind. Enough with the "poor me" talk, let's get down to it.

This installment of the GotD thread will be covering (briefly) the ocean glitch, where you are able to leave your ship and have all sorts of aquatic fun.

We began our adventure off the coast of Padres del Fuego. It was feeling quite toasty out there on the high seas, so I decided to go for a short swim.

Of course, the Navy, Undead Pirates, and EITC would not let me swim in peace, so we I decided to head to Devil's Anvil. Only a couple Navy there, and the usual swarm of vultures.

Though the swimming and running were refreshing, I became tired of it and decided to seek some adventure. First I decided to chase down a Galeon, or was it a frigate? They all look like cannon fodder to me.

While I was chasing down the ship, I noticed a Ferret trying to take out my War sloop. Well, we will have none of that!

I think I may have made a mistake, boarding it when it was going down. But it is not every day you get to tour Davy Jones' Locker.

As usual, with the glitches, I had to invite some friends along for the ride. Poor captain of this ship had no idea what was going on when we boarded him, but he was a good sport about it.

Well, I had enough fun for the day, but Kate does love the glitches (not to mention her new twig). Did I mention I was jealous? Take that Kate!

Well, the joke was on me. I got strapped to the front of the ship for firing on my guildmaster without filling out the required forms. Blasted bureaucrats ruin all the fun.

So this is where I ended up for a while and caused me to be delayed with the posting. All in all, it was a good time for all and we look to do it again soon, but not before we explore the ins and outs of Kingshead in the next installment. Segment 5 - Trouble at Kingshead.
