Did you know that Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End was filmed at the time the second movie was, so the third movie is already done. They are just making time for everyone to get even more excited.

lol. they dint just spend time getting exited. they were doing post production for the last three months. IMDB just took that off.

Did you know that pirates eye patches weren't just for bad eyes but for night vision. The patch keeps the eye ready for night time.

Actually, they were still filming for AWE in January of this year. They only filmed about 30-35% (if that) of AWE while doing DMC. They were filming all year last year for AWE, even after DMC was done.

I also knew that.

I think that the real question should be:

Who didn't know that?

Anyway... I have a did-you-know that is Jack's backstory but its too much of a spoiler to post probably.

That scenes from POTC were filmed about 5 minutes from where I live?? Not that I can tell you precisely where that is...they were ship scenes in the water (ocean)...how cool is that?! Sadly, I never actually saw them filming....I'm too new a resident (wasn't yet around).

My dad works for a steel company. His job gets a call from a certain company to deliver steel to a certain movie set. So they send my dad out.

My friend who is very into the acting world told me that the person playing Elizabeth is retiring so theyre not making another one?

Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom have not retired, rather they just do not wish to do Pirates sequels. The original plan for Pirates 4 was to drop Will & Elizabeth anyway. And if you stay until after the credits of Pirates 3, you can see Will and Elizabeth's story come full circle. If there is another Pirates movie, it will focus on Jack Sparrow, the Black Pearl, and Hector Barbossa.
