Should I max life drain?

I'm about to unlock life drain for my doll, and I was just wondering if I should max it when I get all of my skill points. Is it really effective? I would like to see people's different opinions on this before I make a decision.

Thank you in advance!

Love it. It helps in a bind. I have 3 dots and would've loved more. Best to test it out and save points just incase.

Life Drain is the only self-heal ability at this time. I have it maxed and it has come in handy on many occasions. In my opinion, this one should be maxed, not only for the offensive, but for self-preservation.

Yep I've got 4 dots filled, have maxed my doll but stil have 1 skill point to use. I'm wondering whether to use it on life drain or heal. Would definitely have at least 4 dots on it though.

Okay, haha I've been putting skill points on life drain, thanks! =D

Finally unlocked life drain, and I had 5 skill points waiting for it.

Best thing I ever did.

Trying to level sword on the seabeard and get hit hard: pull the doll get some hp's back.
Too slow on a voodoo run-around with baddies chasing me: life drain, then pull the staff....

Absolutely!

Luckily I read a post about it here when my doll was level 16. Saved all my skill points and threw them all in and added one more when I brought the doll to level 21. Best decision I have made in this game! (unlike Chain Shot, Cleave, Focus, etc.)

With Life Drain maxed, I use Rock Crabs and Sergeants like tonics! If my health is low and I am near one, I tap one killing it instantly and usually restoring my hp to full power. This actually doesn't make sense since at times I seem to restore more hp than the low-level enemy should have, but I'm not arguing about it. :th1287fm4:

yea i killed a lvl 1 sand crab and got 789 health :P with life drain every enemy is your very own tonic

I have 4 dots on it and regret it. You should put 2 or 3 on, and save the rest to max heal and cure. Once you master your doll, which will be soon, you'll probably only use it to heal. So why would you want to skill your attack hexes?

Chris 03-20-2008 11:40 PM

yea but maxing life drain give u life as healing so it attacks the enemy and gives u back alot of health so max it X_X or ill send and army of :hop::rabbitdance::hop::rabbitdance::hop::rabbitda nce::rabbitdance::hop::hop: on ya!

Isaiah Sailbane 03-21-2008 03:08 PM

yh u shuld do...
coz if u run out of tonics u can just simply use this to put your life back
it also does alot of damage aswell as healing u alot
=)

I maxed heal + life drain, I can heal friends and stay alive lol, the max Ive hit using life drain is around 1200, usually can take lower lvl veterans down in one hit, I'd max it again if I had the choice. :easter:
