Greetings from a newbie pirate
 

Hi All, I have been playing pirates for about 2 weeks now. I was introduced to it by a friend with whom I played a space war game. I also introduced my wife to the game and we often play at the same time in seperate accounts.

I myself have 2 pirates with the names Tobias Bluehawk and Doc Savage. Have been focusing on the Doc account and have him up to Level 18 with the sword, gun, doll and dagger ranging from level 5 to level 10. I have been fortunate to find frined that are highly rated players and have leveled my cannon skills up to 13.

Have been reading on the forums for about a week and a half and want to thank all the posters here that answer questions about quests and weapons and the like. It has been quite useful.

As a forum owner and moderator I always read through a sites policies and rules. It makes life much easier.

The game I was playing is called Space: Glory through Conquest. However the userbase has dwindled to almost nothing and the site owners all but abandoned the game for the last 2 years. About 3 weeks ago they cam in and changed all the game perimeters to "help" the game experience and all they did was reduce the economics and make the stratigic build up part of the game longer and the battle part of the game shorter. Which is exactly the opposite of what they needed to do. So finding PotCo was just perfect timing for me as my subscription to their services was about up any way.

I'm hoping you'll enjoy your time here at POF. Many friendly pirates here, you just have to find the right ones that fit your needs. Don't ever forget the site rules, even though it is quite a reading.
