General Game Discussion

Looking to form a guild of Adults who play POTC online.
  • Any level
  • no skill necessary
Only requirement is to not be a begging, attention needing, or rude person.

While being a big kid playing on line games, it's still good to have others who can relate to having responsibilities and know how to behave in public. Even if it is Virtual.

Please let me know if your interested.

:plunder:

Mother of five who's old enough to know I should be doing other things besides playing POTCO all day!

(You're not really asking a lady to reveal her age!!? :xwink:)

Hi Silver.
I think the guild is a great idea and would love to join.

CaptainSilver 12-12-2007 03:26 AM

Thanks for the response
What age?; No real limits as long as mature.
I learned quickly just how free some (usually children) seem to feel on-line to be inappropriate, rude, and so on.

That's the only reason I sent out the post for an Adults Guild. It wasn't to say all kids are bad. I love good kids.

But, I'm a busy grandfather who is enjoying the POTC Online escapist entertainment, and don't have time to take away from plundering to deal with rotten behavior.

Eliza Shipwrecker -
That's some amazing stats! You are a pirate Queen! It would be an honor for anyone to have you with them in their guild.

You found the message board. Thanks for signing up! I know it will be enjoyable with you around.

I finally got approval of a name and a guild name.

I've I tried every variation of "Long John Silver" I could come up with. They kept rejecting everything, and finally they approved "Johnathan Silver"

I gave up on trying variations of "Treasure Island" for a guild name, so I went in another direction and they finally approved a guild name; the "Tortuga Warriors"

I'm on East Coast Time and these days on POTC most evenings aprox. 6:00pm to 10:00. I'll figure out to set all up that are interested and post it here.

Thanks again for the response

Johnathan Silver

poor poor outlawz. I like your quote. very nifty. *pat pat*

disfan_2 12-12-2007 06:47 AM

Fantastic! I'm looking forward to getting the info.

I am in the 18+ age range. I was not yet in school when the Origional Star Wars came out. OutlawZ I love ya!! (You are more than welcome in the Burning Legion as far as I am concerned. And if you wantd in that bad why didn't ya mention it when making the logo for me.)

We have kids in our guild and they are much more mature than some of our adults. If someone gets out of line ask them to stop and if they don't boot them from the guild. A lot of kids out there play the game better than the adults. I know I have taken advice from my child.

Ahoy there all. I'm Captain Syra Jade. Perhaps ye best be callin' me Syra so as not to get confused with the lovely assortment of Jades we have. (We're not related are we? *looks confused*)

Captain Silver, I've been looking forward to meeting ye. I'm Disfan's daughter and have heard quite a bit about yer guild. May I humbly request to be joinin' yer crew?

Eliza Shipwrecker 12-12-2007 06:06 PM

My grandmother used to say "never ask a lady her age or how much she weighs."

I'm not afraid to admit my age - my kids tell everyone how OLD I am.

An adult guild sounds great - keep us updated!

Silver Beard 12-12-2007 06:39 PM

I think it is ok to have an adult guild, but another to treat kids like scum.:xangry:
I am a kid so I don't think you would want a "Little kid" like me here.:mikec:

OutlawZ gets a................................................. ...........not even a name mention. wow

message sent and understood

You took the time to post that you've already joined a guild, so I assumed you had no more need to subscribe to this thread. I didn't have time to respond directly to each individual who posted.......

I'm sorry that hurt your feelings.

"quill_fire" sounds nice, she gave you sympathy.

Great to hear from ya! Yes welcome aboard Me Hearty Lass!

I'm impressed with your graphic and quote from the movie. great work.

You also have Gandalf as your avatar! I'm a big fan of LOTR; the movies, and the books. If fact, I'm in the middle of re-reading it and already halfway through Fellowship of the Ring. It helps me calm down before going to sleep after all the virtual plundering.
