May 2012 If I Ruled the Caribbean Contest
 

Ah, now this is a topic I want to get on. :P

First of all, when I ruled, everyone would have to call me Lord Gas. I would demand rum from the richest and if it was not perfect, I would throw it in their faces. I would sit in a throne and my advisor would be Delmaria Darkskull AKA Captain Del (Seeing how wise he can be since he runs a good guild. :D) Well, not that I'll listen to EVERYTHING since I am, of course, the ruler. I would demand the biggest ship in the seven seas and name it the "Stink Sensation". I would jail the Navy (seeing how I'm...generous. ;) ) and give pirates the right to loot, plunder, and raid the Navy that I haven't jailed and the EITC. Oh, and of course, I would send a fleet out against Jolly Roger. Then, I would build a statue of me on every island in the Caribbean! Other than that, yeah you can say it would be good.

If I Ruled the World Caribbean ...

... I would want to do a proper job of it. In other words, I would be supremely bored, reading reports, issuing edicts and listening to petitions. No more running through grottos, slaughtering disgusting creatures or hopping onto my ship and sailing off into the blue.

The Navy and the EITC would be the good guys, and Lord Cuttler Beckett would be my friend (gag) someone I would have to work with. I’d have to attend dinners and “parties” and other functions with fat merchants and their insipid wives. No more loud singing. No more dancing on tables. No more brawls or throwing empty bottles. Getting sodden drunk would be a bad thing a necessity.

No more associating with rogues just because they are dashing; right, Billy?

My subjects would become my family. I would quickly come to realize that the best thing for them and my realm would be peace and prosperity, which would be best served by fostering trade. This would mean suppressing piracy ....

If I ruled the Caribbean,

As the supreme overlord of the Spanish Main, I would seek to first destroy any and all my opposition. What good is power if there are no cooperative subjects?

After successfully incapacitating all those who doubt me, I would begin a scientific resurgence. Why, might you ask? To begin research into the process of making the perfect rum recipe, one which I would quickly release to the public to allow maximum rum drinking capabilities. I'd also set a special division into researching the process of replicating rum, to access infinite drinks!

Then, I would venture to Padres Del Fuego and head to the volcano. Over this volcano, I would build the greatest tavern known to piratekind, filled with the treasures brought forth, the finest rum available, and of course, the advisors that will help me secure dominance.

Once a few months have passed, I will parley to all local pirates and privateers and offer them a Letter of Piracy, which dictates that they may hunt any and all vessels that cross them as long as I recieved 10% of the profits in gold, and 60% of all rum plundered. Those who declined... well, I did say that Those with the letter could hunt any and all...

Once I amassed the wealth required, I would set my sights on the Mediterranean. For, no matter how tame I become, piracy still lurks in my depths...

If I ruled the carribbean,

I would start off by allowing Pirates who are fully mastered and have completed all quests to sail the Black Pearl out of boss Battle, but with a Different name and a lighter hull. I would also remove the repair minigames and just do the hammer mabobber. I would also add a second chapter with the headstone and it involves the EITC. It would invovle a boss battle at the top of Kingshead with Cutler Becket Lv 100. He would use Silver Freeze Knives ( Mercer's Blades included EITC and Becket ;) ), and A famed broadsword. You would have to fight him in waves, in which EITC Assassins run out in masses and swarm you. When you defeat him, You get the Cutlass of Becket which would be a legendary with a power of 112, and would have every passive, Immunity/Ressistance, and skill +7, and would have a Break ATtack of "Goonies" Which would send out 7 Pirates proportional to your level* and attack your foes while you get a 75% health healing. Your other sword options would be le Porc's Sabre and Avaricia's Broadsword with a damage bonus when used against another player with the opposite weapon in their inventory**.

Everything in pink is only for fully mastered prates with no quests left to complete. Your would get the 2nd chapter immediately after you fit every requirement.



*The weapon can be looted but the chances of finding it are equal to finding 2 different legendaries in a chest together. It would be half your level, and if your level is odd, it would round down to the nearest whole level.


**In PVP, also allows you to attack another player with the weapon's opposite outside of PVP. Can be looted.

if I ruled the Caribbean I would bring back things like the color wheel everyone would get one Legendary weapon. Also there would be more quests

If I ruled the Caribbean I would lead many expeditions across the oceans to discover new islands with more weapons and quests!

If I ruled the Caribbean I would first run off all the navy and eitc guys from Kingshead. Kingshead would be my fort. I would gather mighty guilds, including all the ones I've ever been in, and I would disband them, bringing in the BIG GUNS(the rankers, pvpers, the people who are natural loyal subjects/leaders, and friends) of each guild into my Kings Head Army. The Kings Head door would be closed. I would then rage war against all the remaining islands and whomever is on it. I would command a mighty pirate fleet of lads and ladies who, while at sea, would drink rum and eat nothing but pasta products and, chicken and dumplings. This fortress would be the most powerful thing in the Caribbean. The fortress will be able to hold all of the gold and valuables my army captures. Kings Head town would become a busy world for my army when they are not in battle, the fort will be full of gardens of many plants such as watermelon, squash, greens, tomatoes,corn,eggplant, and many other things.


My fleets sails would be purple and gold. The fort would have purple and gold banners. The logo on the banners and sails but be a golden doll, because your pirate is after all...just a doll ;)
