Where is the best spot to train? (STATS IN THREAD)
 

I need to find a great place to train. My stats are below, as stated above:pirate6:.

Where is a great place to train from these stats?

I've been training on Padres Beach with the high leveled undeads, and get decent rep, about 50-100 from Gypsies.

why not train for more with gypsies?

using low dmg skills like taunt, throw dirt, weak knife throws if you got em, curse, scorch, shackles etc etc,

you could be making twice as much rep on gypsies if you basically milk them after hex shots,
you gain 100 rep per weapon if i am not mistaken (and please someone correct me if im wrong) so cycling through your skills/weapons and using the low damage but mid-high level skills, you can eventually kill them, but gain much more rep in the process, as well as train multiple skills.

I would say though, TRAIN your grenades, its boring and frustrating..but get it high as you can as early as you can, as its a nightmare for me now, at level 20 grenades, lvl 39 notoriety, i can barely get off 1-2 grenades before someone comes along and "helps" me kill my nicely set up and disabled enemy, giving me a pathetic 13 rep..
I wish i would have trained them sooner! as Im giving up for the day, ill try again at night in a quiet server as I cannot find any spot to train in peace.

Personally everyone like padres beach, but its always crowded, ive had better luck at cuthroat beach with the two gypsies that spawn at the beach end, its usually quieter, and youre never overwhelmed, and supplies are only as far as padres anyways.




id say stay on the gypsies as long as possible.

yes grenades first :p i would go for gyps or the parade on kings

When the Padres Beach started having the level 24 enemies being GREEN, I found using Tormenta Cave to be a great Rep giver. Take a full load of Hex shot, and Nades.

Using the Staff (at this point, I was level 36 or so) and Cutlass on the Seabeards (lvl 32-36) and any other weps on the Mollusks (level 34-38) and Brinescum (level 30-34) after a couple Hex Eater shots make them harmless.

Entering the right-side cave, there's an area that's safe to stand in, at which point you can have a field day with 2 constantly respawning enemies. You do have to go attack them, so you do get damaged, and the 'beards can be deadly to a lower level pirate.

With a full compliment of Nades (explosive/stink/smoke) and using them wisely, I was getting around 800+ points per visit with nades alone (used on Mollusks and B-scum), decent at high level.

You can easily get 100 rep per while using the Doll on the Beards too...less risky. :piratewheelgo2:

The best place to train cutlass doll and dagger is with the 2 stumps inside the cave on cutthroat island. If you can attune both you can get 200 reps a go (although be prepaered to maybe die once or twice if you havent got lifedrain!!! LOL) but it is still possible to do with a smaller doll.
Then when your doll is maxed and you've got lifedrain using your cutlass will get you about 70 reps per stump. Dagger is a little dangerous under lvl 10 but u can always whip out ya doll and use lifedrain if health becomes low or remember to bring LOADS of tonics LOL.
Grenade works well on Kingshead as you can hide behind the fence and throw to yer hearts content at the bunch of 6/8 navy on the field.
I haven't found a great place yet for staff but if anyone else has please let me know.

Tormenta is the best overall spot to level.

Take a friend/crew/guildmate with you to Tormentia cave. Take the left entrance where one dreg/floatsam and a vamp bat spawn. Have your friend attune and do nothing but heal you while you attack the dreg/floatsom with you weak attacks. You get rep, as does your friend for healing you. As you grow in power go farther into the cave...whohahaahh

Train your grenades at Kingshead. Stand behind the fence and toss at the Veteran formation. Use Stink Pot to engage them, then use Explosive to kill them. 15 rep each. Trust me, it works, my grenades are at Lv 14.
