HOrribly bad luck with plundering has me going insane.
 

About a week ago I was saving up for a war galleon by sinking high level ships(lv25+ at the time). All was going good. But at one point in my earnings, suspiciously right around the point I got the treasure sense skill to speed things up, I noticed that the cargo I was getting was suddenly a bit poor for what I was sinking compared to how it had been for the first 10000 gold or so. Sink a level 28 war sloop....1crate and one treasure chest, contents not too good of quality; sink a lv 22 galleon.... 2 crates, each with 5 gold; get really lucky and sink a lv 27 storm reaper...one cargo crate, 7 gold.
I thought that maybe I was just being a bit too over analytical about it all because I was in a hurry and Id never sank so many high level ships at once to really notice that not all ships give good rewards, so I continued, and kept upgrading treasure sense to perhaps get rid of the problem...and it got progressively worse. I now have my war galleon and lv 5 treasure sense, and I'm slowly losing my mind from being ripped off this much and for this long. Im at least able to get royal chests again, but like the other types the quality is always very low for the chest. Royals are almost always emeralds (90 gold), treasure chests are usually 25 with the occasional 50, and crates are always below the 10's. And this is still all from sinking ships that I know should give out better than this. (lv30+ now)
Has anybody ever encountered this before? And if so is there any way to stop it besides starting a new pirate? I've filed a few bug reports about it, still no word back, I guess I'm just getting impatient. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

P.S. the photos I have attached gives you a glimpse into my high seas nightmare, they were taken when i had treasure sense at about lv 3. In them my old galleon had just managed to (very painstakingly) sink a lv 30 man o war, only to receive the petty rewards shown. enjoy!

i have had the exact opposite experience. my lv 5 TS seems to give my nothing but royals!

im getting 1k a trip in my war frig.

Least you're boat can stay on the water without every boat on the ocean making a bee-line for it. ^^

I seem to get alot of royals if I can make away from the island first. ^^

Aww jee thanks for twisting that knife in haha. Yeah that's what I'm expecting if I can ever get word back from the bug reports I've made about it. I seem to be able to get royals again here and there, but still all freakin emeralds.

I think overall with treasure sense you get more royals, than without it. Not sure the higher the level the better treasure. I can get royal from lower level ships as well as higher levels. It's all pretty random. Sinking the Jug can yield 3 royals, or 1 crate. Sinking a level 20 ship can yield a royal.

I have noticed lately though, the ships aren't quite as generous as they used to be.

Yeah that's what I've been finding out as I ask around, but I still think something's wrong when every said royal gotten is worth 90 post treasure sense, when pre-treasure sense I was getting rubies and diamonds at least on occasion. Not to mention all of the 25 gold normal chests and 5 gold crates that come with them.

hmm i still dotn understand the whole cargo distribution thing i mean sinking a lvl 35 war frigate deserves something better than 2 or even 1 cargo crate and like someone in another thread meationed we should have a cargo drop feature so we can drop the crates and keep the treasure and roayals

I have maxed treasure on both my pirates. I cant get royals for nothing. The definitely should fix that. Especially with the expensive wardrobes its gettin ridiculous.

yea some days ill go out and kill like 10 war frigs with my war gal and come back with 16 cargo O_o other days ill do the samething and come back with like 7 royals and the rest being treasure chests so its very odd

I agree that the seas seem a little on the stingy side these here day's. Out plundering a good long while last night and sunk not less then 30 ships ranging from 20-35 and only got 1 royal the entire time.

I have 5 points on treasure sense.

I think that when I had 3 or 4 points I used to get more.

Been trying to save up for a War Gallon but this is taking for ever.

idk a friend told me it also has to do with the servers and i guess potco sets a limit to the amout of royals and treasure chests and once it is reached the loads get bad and a way to fix this is to go to a quiet ocean where less have been taken

Gonna have to try that, but I normally hunt the quiet ones.

wow well i feel better hearing that at least others have it happen to them. Everybody start filing bug reports and maybe they'll do something about it. Whether its max load per server or not, nobody should have to take out a war frigate with lv5 treasure sense and get a two digit gold return. Bug or not, it's a mistake that needs to be corrected, because thats just plain messed up.
