Facebook "pages" and albums :)
 

this is sort of a cross-post/re-post from a PHF thread, for anyone that doesn't read those: :icon_chest:

i recently created a Facebook "page" (not a "profile"), in order to have a place to post in-game pics and stuff. partly due to not currently being able to have forum albums, partly due to not being able to do the same elsewhere, partly to be able to have larger, higher quality pics (even 1920x1200 - laptop native resolution!),... and partly "just because i can". :pirate6:

i made it by using the "Create a Page" link. it seems the easiest way to get to that (without endlessly scrolling to the bottom of any other page) is to go to the News Feed, find the "More" link/menu, and then select "Create a Page". from there, i selected "Artist, Band or Public Figure", chose "Fictional Character" as the category, entered a name, checked the box, and clicked on the "Get Started" button. :bookishfj7:

having the page, i can now "Use Facebook as" (Littlebell), and "Likes" and posts show up as Littlebell. also, i think Pages can now (or will be able to) send private messages as (page name). also, i seem to remember from other Pages in the past that they used to be limited to a single album for the page, but now you can have multiple albums just like a profile (including separate albums for profile and Timeline cover pics). :dancetl6:

now, as i understand it, it has to follow all the same forum rules and guidelines for content in order to reference it here; no "real" personal info or pics, etc. - should be easy enough. :smiley-rpg028:

i hope this is useful to anyone that might be interested in creating their own "page". if anyone is interested in seeing what i've done with mine so far, feel free to 'search for "Littlebell" on FB'. i think they're supposed to be making all pages Timeline format on 3/30, so i'll probably change it a bit more then. if you like what i've done with it, or just like the idea, feel free to "Like" the page. :icon_psmiley12:
