Just joined the site last week after seeing the commercial and downloading POTC online. I played for a few hours and said what the heck, $4.95 for the first month, so I upgraded. My pirates name is Tobias Darkskull (lvl 8). I would be interested in joining any mature guilds, like one of the other new members I probally have most beat with age. Got sick and tired of the BF2 Chaos online playing, this is a nice change.

I, like you, just found the game and this wonderful site last week. There's definitely a plethora available here. It's already proved invaluable for quests. :)

Rose: I saw the commercial for the game on Comedy Central...I'm pretty sure during The Daily Show & The Colbert Report hour.

For anyone who hasn't see the commercial you can find it on the official site although it's slightly misleading as far as the large scale battle scenes are concerned.
