Question on Getting Gold from Bosses
Lately, I've been trying to earn more gold so that I can get the infamous Fortune Hunter upgrade for me War Frigate. Unfortunately, I have no idea which boss is the best most of the time for getting gold at. If any of ye could do this old seadog a favor and tell me if you know any of the research behind this, I would most appreciative. Let me know as soon as ye can. Until then, yo ho ho, me mateys!!!

General Darkhart in Las Pulgas gives a lot of gold on the average. He's usually in three digits, although sometimes he gives nothing. I've had almost 900 gold from him at one shot (Well, not just one shot; I had to shoot him several times before he gave up,) and I've had one old hand claim he got over 1,500 one time.
If you work Isla Tormenta for a long time you usually come out with some good gold and a lot of stuff to sell. It's work, but it adds up ... if you have the time. Foulberto Smasho the boss ghost gives good gold and treasure most times, but you need a big high-level crew to do him in, and it takes so long that it doesn't add up quickly. Gen Darkhart you can do by yourself if you're lvl 35 or over, and he doesn't take too long to put down. Then again, make an appointment with me to play Tortuga poker. I've got more gold than I can possibly use. We play, bid each other up until the pot is huge and the AI players fold, then I fold and you win. Only way I know of to transfer gold between players. I agree with rose on the Darkhart looting. He gives generously. I do say it has decreased since the customization update. Ill be on Abassa for hours fighting him.

Cheat at Blackjack my friend. Think of each ace ye have as 750 gold on max bet on Padres. I made 140k gold in 2 hours. Just remember to stand up every 5k gold so if ye caught cheating the most ye loose is 4k. Darkheart and fishing are worth around 10k gold an hour. Material runs can get ye 2-6k gold a run. The most gold is earned from SvS, and SvS gold swap. I have made max gold doing both in around 3 hours.
