Trying to put points in parry but isn't working
 

I just got to level 6 cutlass and I'm trying to put all the saved up points into parry, but for some reason it won't let me!? I click on the parry skill but nothing happens and it doesn't assign the point.
Anyone know what's going on or how to make it work right?

I'm not entirely sure as I am way past level 6 cutlass, but could it be that you don't have a high enough cutlass level to unlock it? If the circle for it is faded and if you put your mouse over it, it might say "unlocks at level __"

Again, not sure, but I think that is why you can't put points into it.

2 reasons

1. your are not high lvl enough

2. it is already maxed with point (which makes no sense since u are a lvl 6)

EDIT: thx to the wiki i found out the Parry skill is unlocked at cutlass lvl 6 O_o oh wait a minute there a third reason

3. Need to be a Member ??

If you're a basic member, you can only add 2 skill points.

I for one think the passives for the Cutlass are worthless, they are better spent somewhere else in my opinion.

I actually had a similar problem with flourish. If you haven't put a point into sweep it wont let you spec into any other cutlass abilities. I'm assuming it's because of the training in the beginning where you're supposed to sweep the 2 dummies for Will Turner.

Anyhow, if you don't have a point in Sweep you might want to put 1 point into it and see if it fixes things.

oh yea i forgot basics can only put 2 sp per weapon

So iguess ur new to the game, u have to spend at least 1 skiil point on the sweep attack then u can what u want the sword skills

isnt the sweep one of those skills a point is pre-applied when u get it

Not if you dont do the cutlass training.
