Game Booster
Some of you might already know or use this...
Game booster is a program kind of like an antivirus software that enhances computer performance By temporarily shutting background processes and unnecessary Windows services, cleaning RAM, and intensifying processor performance, Game Booster 3 concentrates every little system resource for gaming only. This is not a cheat or a hacking program as it does not effect the game but instead optimizes the computer. Now this will not assure you a free lag experience but it might help you. Or maybe not. I've used this for quite some time. I highly recommend this program while playing games. It's a free program, small, and works quite well. It'll shut off a lot of un-needed programs to free up more of your computer's resources so that your games will play faster. I've noticed a marked improvement while playing resource intensive games.
If you're not a computer expert, just let it shut down background programs that you don't need to play games. If you're a computer expert, you can shut down even more programs to increase your computer's resourses to run whatever game you turn on. After playing your game, it'll restore everything that it shut down. So no rebooting or anything else required to use this. Leo is right. This wouldn't be considered a 3rd party program since it never alters game play beyond what it's creators meant. It just simply speeds up the proformance of your PC. |
