How many pirates do you think are in POTCO?
Active and inactive players...
I was looking at the leaderboards for one of my pirates and compared his stats with his friends..I noticed one pirate had only 2 enemies defeated overall.. Her rank is 4850888. That's over 4 million pirates. This made me wonder, how many could there be, total. Pirates that are still on an account, active or inactive, not deleted pirates. |

I'm pretty sure that is how many exactly really, I mean what pirate HASN'T defeated an enemy once. Kind of obvious!:laughks2:

:P If I had to guess, I would probably say a circle has no beginning. ( Wise response to how many pirates actually play this and we don't really know. xD).

It is highly unlikely that they will ever tell us such stats. How many pirates were created by that one account for instance? I still have three. I haven't created a 4th one. I will someday. And just so you all know, I deleted my first pirate twice when I first started. So in essence, since each pirate has an ID number attached to it, I have 5 altogether accounted for in their system. This does not include my Test pirate.
How many others have made similar actions with their own accounts? Furthermore, how many additional accounts did they create altogether as one player? Don't know. POTCO does. Not only that, like in my case for example, I shared my account with a family member. Anyone who has had that, or still does, knows that both pirates from the same account can't play together or simultaneously from two different computers. Eventually, my brother created his own account and for a time he and I had thought of alternating by letting me create a pirate on his account while he kept his first one on mine. Then we could play together. Plenty of families did this alternating. When the time came though, I decided that we try that pirate transfer instead. So we contacted tech support and it was done instantaneously for free! We've been happy campers since and paid to get Unlimited Access for our own accounts. He has two pirates on his account btw. Altogether, we have 7 pirates minus the Test pirate. That's 7 out of 4,850,888 pirates according to that rank you provided. Divide that total by 4 (assuming each account is maxed) and you'll get a rough estimate of how many account holders there are: 1,212,722 accounts It would be smaller considering how many were created by one person for whatever reasons, like, lol, just because they can. And as we all know, they're all in the same Guild. hahahahaahahaaaaa |
Itdefinetly can't be that much, knowing all the inactive accounts (mine for example for 7 months) you should probaly get around 2 or 1 million or so.
