Sharing Quests and rewards with Crew
 

I am trying to play this game with my son, and I would like to be able to share quests with him. We play on two PCs in different rooms so it is difficult for me to help him find his quests and understand what he is should do. Is there a way he can invite me to his crew and then I can see the quests?

Also can we both get credit for completing the quests? If I can not see his maybe he can join mine and when I finish my quest he will get credit and the rewards for the same quest.

No, each pirate gets the same quests, and only they can recieve points/reps for doing it. Maybe if you were on teh same quests and part of the game it would be easier. You can crew up too to get more reps.

One solution might be voice chat software.

The text chat system in this game is horrible, but if you had something like Skype you could just chat with him in the other room and he could just read the quest off to you.

Ventrilo would work, and the free version supports 8 chatters at once.
I think teamspeak is free as well. Skype would be all you need for a 1v1 though.

Thanks for the responses. We are using our phone's intercom feature to chat and that works for understanding the quest. The bigger problem is his ability to follow the arrow. He is a bit directionally challenged, he gets that from his mother. :pirate6: I get frustrated when we start running in circles and wish there was a way to see his quests and track them on my screen.

I think I will just need to get him caught up with me on the storyline quest and only work on other quests that he and I accept at the same time. Maybe in a future release they will give some better abilities for the crews.
