Treasure Question

If this is in the wrong place, I apologize.

Quick question:

I've collected all nine paintings for the Nine Rouges... now what?

Told ya it'd be quick. :D

nothing really, you wait for the story to progress more.

I was wondering about this myself...

...what benefit is there to collecting all of these items?

You get no benefit or reward. It doesn't even really add to the story line...

"We were gathering members of the crew to retreive the Black Perl and then a sand crab dropped a painting!"

Does.Not.Follow.

Maybe we could sticky these types of questions, as they come up every week or so...just a thought...Anyhow...

The treasures you collect from killing soldiers, undeads, creatures, et al are just pretty little things to have in your journal. You get the gold they are worth, but then they just sit there. The only ones that are of use right now are the playing cards. You can use those to cheat at poker and blackjack. The treasures may come in handy at some point, but as of right now, nada but the gold and a pretty picture.

These treasure things, I think are just a means for higher level pirates to gather more wealth. You can also look at it as a private collection even though it is meaningless.

You're right. Just to get more gold.

It is quite dissapointing when the story line tells you that they are priceless and to collect them she will give u a reward. no reward when your done and they are worth 10 gold each thats not priceless....

same for the metals, i collected all of them and they were supusto be melted down to make riches fit for a king.... i still have no riches....

the story line is there but falls short with the devs...

I thought when I had all nine rogues, I'd be given another quest. Something along the lines of the story we were given when we got the quest to unlock it.

Of course, they should have been harder to get. I think a few of the should only drop in certain types of zones. Some at sea, some in caves, one or two only off high level npcs or ships. Then unlocking it would be special and deserve a reward. Kind of hard to expect something when it was so easy to do.

When you collect all your paintings, you must wait until you get to a certain notoriety before another one will appear DOW (Disney Online Worlds) has some of the notoriety levels for when some of the treasure is unlocked, look here :).

DOW has all sorts of helpful guides to the Disney Oline games :).

Hope that helps,

I was disapointed too. But the treasures really are priceless. Id assume once all the Treasures where collected youd be scoring another 10 gold pieces for every 1 out of 3 beasties..... aye? Ive got the paintings, teeth, medals, and rings so far. Prolly scorin on 1 out of 7 or 8. Suppose Ill track it and post the results.

Elizabeth mentions something about helping find her father in the next chapter? This was in the 9rouges treasure hunt.
