It could b a problem with your computer. You may ned a new graphics card, a better processor. If you play with a lot of things open - try and close those before you play. If it is a laptop, try not to cover the vents on the bottom or side of the laptop. Hope this helps!

What Operating System (Windows/Mac)? When did the problem start? Can you recall any changes that were made when this problem started? Do you know your system specifications (RAM/CPU/Video, etc.)?

Assuming the problem is with this particular game only, have you tried changing the Graphics Option at the Launcher? By default its Open GL. Select DirectX9, then launch the game. If it is DirectX9 already, check Open GL.

If you have been receiving this message anyway, then its your OS. This is a known issue and I would recommend that you go to Microsoft's website and contact support. According to what I've read, users had to uninstall an unwanted security program when having two of them. In that one case, he uninstalled Norton and things worked fine. In another case, a user had upgraded his Vista to a 7 and experienced this error often. His upgrade was the problem. Contact support and let them help you.

Hope that helps.

Reinstalling the game only works if the files were corrupted by a hardware failure, lost sectors, or an attack from spyware, malware, or a virus.
