High or low lvl? Tormenta or RC?
 

Ok I have killed Old Foul only to discover he drops only knives ( lol told ya I had been away awhile ). I have run amuck on Tormenta and if it moved I hacked it, shot it, blew it up and smacked it with a doll. I have applied for a spot on the ghost busters team based off of my experiance on RC. I have had no luck looking for famed and legendary weps, not a blue much less red wep. among the lot. I have stayed most on Tormenta because while I still get poor wep. drops I get more gold to help fund the next ship upgrade. RC is like 15 gold with each while Torm. is 70 or more alot of the time but my skull chests will be like 400 gold and a common doll. I had thought higher lvl baddies might lead to a greater reward but ....... so my ? is this do I stand a better chance killing more low lvl baddies and maybe by default getting more drops so a higher chance? or sticking to higher levels that take a bit more sword play but should ( I would think ) mean greater lvl of rewards when I get one. Oh and one more ? it says that you have to be on Torm or RC for cursed weps. but there are famed blue weps that are not cursed so can you find them anywhere? I hope there is somewhat of a thought process behind the drops and not just ok we haven't given away a red in awhile here ya go :laughks2: so back to smacking baddies with a stick till I hear from ya.

You're gonna get better weapons depending on how many enemies you kill per day. For me, the level of the enemy isn't the biggest factor.... it's more like how long you spend looting. If you spend about a half an hour looting at the Thrall Hall (where the highest level enemies are), you won't get as good of loot if you loot for an hour at Raven's Cove. I average killing about 800-1500 enemies per day, and will usually get a Famed or two. Killing that amount of enemies a day will probably get you at least one per day. Of course, sometimes my best loot will come from the first few kills. My best loot has come from the Raven's Cove Mines. I've gotten Blade of the Abyss, Barracuda Blade, Masterwork Broadsword, and Master Crafted Repeater Pistol, to name a few. My second favorite place is the Gold Room on Tormenta, and I go there a lot now (because like you said, Tormenta has way better gold, and I need a lot for my final ship upgrade). Also, sever hopping is another good way to loot. If you've been looting for a bit, and haven't gotten any skulls, then pick a new server to loot on. And an answer to your last question, you can only find Famed Cursed Blades on Raven's Cove or on Isla Tormenta, but you can find regular Famed anywhere... although some are more common in other places.

Also, another tip... a lot of people (including myself) use a good way of looting called running laps, or circling, in Cursed Caverns.
