New sailing skill
 

There is a new skill for sailing called Power Recharge
which will decrease the cooldown time for canon and sailing
skill of the ship, maybe for all crew. But there is no info
on the button on what level the skill can be unlocked.

Whoah a new skill already? on test? or is this just an idea if it is good idea?

Not unless they saved skill points like big rose :) Lil Rose (who's not so little anymore) isn't going to spend any of those extra skill points till the summer.

Power recharge sounds interesting. What's also interesting is that we could possibly get new skills on other weapons too?

It sounds somewhat similar to Taskmaster -- except it speeds up the recharge rate of sailing skills (like Full Sail and Come About) for a set period of time, rather than by a certain percent.

I'm guessing that "cannon skills for the ship" means that the recharge rates for your crew's cannons are also given a boost for that period of time.

FYI, it's the last circle under Ship Maneuvers (after Take Cover), but, as Ironhawk mentioned, there's no indication at what level it might unlock.

ok so pretty much its like 3 existing skills combined into one?

Today I leveled up from Sailing level 21 to 22 and the new skill did not unlock. I am saving the rest of my points to see if it does unlock by the time I hit 25.

Wow cool. Those who have not saved points and are level 25 sailing, just wait. The Cap level on Notoriety and weapons/sailing/cannons may raise, anyone who's level 25 on test see if they can get more exp? Just wondering.

No, once a skill is at level 25, there is no more experience to be earned. One of my friends who is maxxed in sailing already tested that out, if it were possible he would have done it last night. As he had spent all his sailing points, he is unable to unlock that skill.

The level cap should raise soon if this new skill is the real deal. Can't wait! I've been holding off on mastering any weapons - Doll and Sailing are at 24, Cutlass is 20, Cannon is 19.

The new skill must have been released on last night's update, because it is now unlocked for me. It has been renamed Leadership and is unlocked after you recover the Black Pearl. No skill points were needed to unlock it. I have yet to play with it and see how it works.
