What's the best sword in-game?
 

I'm thinking about playing again. I know one of the quest swords is better than El Patron. Anyways, what's the best sword?

Obviously the rarest are the Legendary Blades; which one of them is the most powerful and are they more powerful than their famed counterparts is a debatable topic.

I personally consider the World Eater Blade to be the most powerful. It has the highest attack stat (105) of any blade, plus drain health, drain voodoo, and freeze sweep. Right under it I would place the Behemoth Blade (101 attack, +5 endurance, BA ghost form, and sure footed), and the Barracuda Blade (95 attack, critical strike 3, cursed thunder 3, and +2 Bladestorm) right after.

i have no idea my best weapon is the seven seas cutlass

Probably World Eater Blade, since it has the highest attack. But my Blade of the Abyss does a lot more damage when it has full Blood Fire, probably putting its max attack over 100.

The best sword in the game?

Well...

Barracuda Blade (+3 to Bladestorm)
Thunderspine (+3 to thrust, Critical rank 3)
Doom Rattler (Ignore all slow effects, I think it also has critical)

The weapon with the highest attack is lie. The in-game stats are actually lie because I was able to view the game data via weapon.global data files and some weapons are given incorrect damage values.

Oh, also you really want the sword that +'s powerful skills such as Thrust or Bladestorm.

That, would give you the most powerful damage output you can deal (with critical, another OP setup)

77 attack, Cursed Fire, Pain Immunity, and Thrust Boost (+2).

Best sword for PvP IMO.

I haven't played in a bit so... Is there a place that has a better chance of dropping said DOOM RATTLER (just sounds cool) or is all luck of the draw? - wish each boss had its own rare special drop.

It's all luck mate. Only thing you need to note is that cursed swords can only be found on Raven's Cove or Isla Tormenta.

And also it is lie when Disney says there is a better loot drop rate at Raven's Cove when really it's the same as Tormenta (because you can find legendaries at Tormenta just as quickly)

They use the "Search Raven's Cove to obtain your powerful rares the quickest" to make you play longer and pay more subscription to keep grinding through those terrible ghost enemies that have awful drop rates (because of their level, mainly).

Go the gold room on Tormenta or the area with the level 50 enemies. You'll find it quicker that way.

I think the best sword is the one that has the highest damage output in the shortest amount of time.

^ That would probably be one of the legendary swords such as the Thunderspine Sword which has 95 attack, Citical Rank 3 and +3 Thrust Boost. It is also a very good PvP sword considering it has Critical Rank 3 and 3+ Flourish Boost. A critical thrust can do up to 1500 damage and the bladestorms are almost just as powerful as the Barracuda.

I guess it really depends what you use the sword for, every sword has different abilities.

I don't like any swords. Therefore when I get the best sword I will like that one.
