Weekly PNC PvP Days

Our very own Delmaria Darkskull has made the discovery that our guild is approximately 300 PvP wins from breaking the top 30 Overall PvP Wins on the leaderboard. Because of this--and my recent ambition to become a War Master--I've decided to organize weekly PvP days. This is a PNC-only event, but if you're in the guild and would like to use a higher-level pirate that's in another guild, you're free to do so.

PvP Nights will be held every Saturday afternoon, at 3:00 PM CST (9:00 PM GMT, 4:00 PM EST, 2:00 PM MST, 1:00 PM PST). We'll meet at the King's Arm Tavern, Tortuga, Kokojillo. Before each match we will determine the rules for that match. For example, blades only, blades and throwing knives, any weapon, etc.

For the sake of order and preventing arguments, there will be a few ground rules that participants are expected to follow.

Rules:
  • No auto-run jumping.
  • If we're doing Team PvP and the match rules allow the use of dolls, no healing teammates.
  • No running.
  • This should be a given, but no glitching, hacking, etc.
  • If the rules permit the use of voodoo dolls, for everyone's well-being, no Life Drain.
  • To further prevent arguments, there is no "kill stealing." Meaning if someone uses, say, Viper's Nest and kills "your" target, then... that's that. At least you got some Infamy for doing damage, though.
  • Abide by the specific rules for each match. For example, no using a pistol when the rules are blades only.
  • If the match rules are "no rules," that is referring to weapons. These ground rules will still apply.

WHAT: Weekly PNC PvP Days
WHEN: Saturday afternoons, starting at 9:00 PM GMT/4:00 PM EST/3:00 PM CST/2:00 PM MST/1:00 PM PST
WHERE: King's Arm Tavern, Tortuga, Kokojillo
WHO: PNC pirates, or pirates that at least have a pirate in PNC

WOOT!
This will be perfect..... 400 away from War Master!

Excellent! I love PvP. :D Naturally, though, my time zone doesn't allow me to join in. But if you decide to do it earlier sometime, do let me know!

Assuming people are going to be very eager to get to War Master, there probably will be other randomly thrown together gatherings within the actual week and not just the weekend. So with that being said, whenever you are on, tell us that you wanna PVP and more than likely people will start to sharpen their weapons. XD

I'm very anxious to see this start up so that way our mates can learn the tips and tricks of the trade from some of the best fighters in the seven seas. Can't wait to see plenty more people up over with me and my shiny War Master badge :buds:

Alright... So, I plan on going to these... Just so you know, I am a noob at PvP. I have never touched my space bar during PvP, and frankly, I dislike PvP with a passion. But I will sacrifice for you guys. :P

At least someone has the same feelings about PvP as me. :laughks2: I'll go to a few so I can build a little skill, but in the next week or so, I'm gonna be focusing on pirate mastery. :buds:

Sorry for missing this past PvP Days, guys. Got caught up in plundering for materials, time flew by... And as this Saturday is Christmas Eve, I'll be out visiting family; you guys are still free to get together and PvP, of course. :P

All times are GMT. The time now is 09:46 AM.
