:psmiley27: I played this game a couple years ago and the lava used to be moving at Padres Del Fuego now the lava stopped moving in the year i rejoined. Did they remove that cause that was cool.:erti101:

I really miss this cool update.

They may have removed it due to lag issues. If not maybe try and turn your graphics up and check.

Hmm ill try that.

I think it stopped moving when they gave the islands make-overs.

The moving liquids stopped flowing about a year ago. After a patch, they just stopped. Waterfalls in Cursed Caverns are just frozen, and all the lava too.
They probably removed it for the same reason they removed shotting holes in sails - too much for their Panda3D to handle (according to forums).

It was originally moving when we played the browser version and in the Desktop Launcher, it is frozen and as the same reason above would make Padres, and the caves laggy. So Disney may have made it a single texture that has no animation. Does kinda make the lava look like it has began solidifying

it would be really great to make the option to turn it on and off, to give us the choice of whether we want to have it look more realistic but with more lag, instead of having them assume that none of us want it. The waters look awful and really unrealistic when frozen.

If I remember correctly, the waterfall in Tormenta is actually the same waterfall textures for Barbossa's Grotto.

And, it's a moving waterfall in the Grotto, but not in Tormenta.

So, I don't think they replaced the constructed 3d model to be 0, rather they probably just forgot to reference the animation batch of code for all the other waterfalls.

Then again, I haven't been online Pirates Online for 4 days now, so I kinda forget if it's still moving or not.

If not....

then yes, it must be a replaced texture :|.

Disney needs to hire more people to maintain the live server while they are working on the test server getting the updates ready.
