Call of duty, help please! wii
I have Call of Duty: Black Ops.
I counted up a little of my money, and i have enough to get the new release, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Is it worth it? Is it a good game. I love black ops, and wanna try out something new. So, is Call Of duty MW3 any good? Comment please! NOTE! This is for the consle Wii! |
In my school, there has been a lot of talk about Modern Warfare 3, although it came out early this morning. From the ads and trailers, I think it will be a pretty decent game, but it won't have much on Black Ops and the previous Modern Warfare 2. It is pretty much an extended story line from Modern Warfare 2 and has new maps and new weapons. Also, from my experience with 1st person shooters on the Wii, I am not a fan of them and World at War on my Wii was a complete disaster. I would say try it at a friends house or try it at a game store like GameStop, and see if you personally like it. Hope this helps.

If you were just to get 3, and not 1 or 2, would you understand the story?
P.s. I always thought Would at war was bad. Just by looking at back of case. lol |
I would definitely get the third Modern Warfare because a lot more people will play that online and it is probably going to be better than it's predecessors.

I'm getting MW3 and I've not played any of the first 2. I'm getting it for the online playing. Which is going to be waaayyyyy better than any other of the franchise.

Sony Playstation 3 Microsoft Xbox 360 PC is excluded because of hackers ruining the Multi-player function of the game. |
Wii has beaten both of those consoles in sales. They are just different. PS3 has the better graphics, 360 has the better online gaming, while Wii is for those of more refined gaming tastes.
Back to topic, I am extremely disappointed in the CoD games. I would recommend rent the game and then decide if it's worth buying or not. |

Just play the first Spec Ops mission in Modern Warfare 3 and try to get the triple-star rating to see just how hardcore it is. 28-total seconds on that course. You MUST be PERFECT to get it. You need to aim fast and accurate. The motion controller = Big time fail. PC, PS3, Xbox 360 are the way to go for those games. Hands down. |
It is a matter of taste and opinions. I am just as good in a FPS game in both Wii and 360. Again it's just a matter of what kind of game play you are into. If anything they are harder to play on Wii and making them a bit more hardcore. It's just a way to see it.
I am a hardcore video game player. I have played video games since Atari and NES. Besides this is a bit of topic. My suggestion stays the same, give the game a test drive then decide if it's worth your cash and time. |
From what I have seen and heard, CoD MW3 is a good game. I plan to get it for my Wii.
As others have said (Skirata), it's just up to your tastes and opinions. I myself have an excellent aim with Wii Motion Controller. I've had plenty of practice between CoD MW1 (reflex edition, the one that is exactly the same as the 360s and PS3s), Black Ops, and even my friends World at War game (though it was the worst of the 3). I personally liked all of those games, especially the online, and that is a big reason I'm getting MW3. |

You don't have to stand up and jump like the commercials. I hardly move while playing Wii. I only move my eyes and hands while playing, same as 360, except there I talk a lot more. Right?

To what Swash said... As Skirata put, you can play the Wii with hardly any movement at all (and there IS the classic controller, same movement required with it as with regular PS3 and 360 controllers). Also, remember, the PS3 and 360 has copied the Wii in its movement gaming. (PS3 has PS Move controllers, a lot like the Wii to me, and the 360 has Kinect. Both, like the Wii, require more movement than regular controllers.) Anyway, this seems to be getting a bit off topic... he just asked about the game. |
