Orange Players?
 

I am sure this question has been answered before but, I cannot find existing threads or a FAQ about this.

These players in the game with Orange Names instead of blue, who are they?:vhuh:

The orange/gold players are from beta and had the opportunity to sign up first for when the game was getting ready to go live....if you see a gold coin with an "F" it means they are "Founders".

Actually, it's not just beta players. Anyone who pre-ordered the game got the Founder's status. The pre-order offer was shown on the front page, and anyone who visited the site could sign up for it. The Founder's program was also extended for about a month after the game's official launch, and anyone who signed up as a paying customer in that time got a founder's status as well, but would not receive the special pre-order gift in the mail that other people who signed up before the game's launch would.

But it said when you signed the founders thing that you get 50% discount on first month and also that founders will get a "cloth map" and "crew kit" in the mail. so dunno if your statement is true or not, but i usually just go along with what people say.

I am a Founder (name in gold, coin with the F). But i am from the Netherlands (Europe). What kind of 'special treatment' can I reseve as a foreign player?

Will i get the cloth map?

Actually I hadn't heard of the game before it started and obviously wouldn't have had the chance to "pre-order". So, I didn't join until the day it started (or it may have even been the day after) and still got the cloth map.

That's cool for you. I was just repeating what the site said about the founders program extension, but I guess they sent some out to people who signed up after anyway. Maybe they had more maps than pre-orders?

They allowed anyone who was playing to get the founders until Dec 2, I believe. I didnt agree with that at all. I thought that the founders icons should have been exclusive for beta only. But that's just me.

u had to be a PAYING member after the release of the game and before dec. 2 (in other words u had to pay before dec. 2

Paying or not those of us that keep up on current news in the gaming world and knew of the beta testing should have been founders and any other paying members should have been just that paying members, this may sound mean but hey i hear people complaining everyday about how badly this game plays but they weren't here for the beta so i just tell them shush.... us testers suffered through constant crashes alot more then what's going on now so yeah we should have gotten something in return like the founders status and maybe the free unlimited accounts that were rumored but you can't win everything.
